I have a long history with DD and even way back in 80's it was a joke every time DD sold a business it magically became very profitable and every time DD bought a bushiness it became #$%$.. and the cycle continues today with Peltz trying to get management to make decisions for investors and not just management.
I agree and also did not have nerve to buy back then but the price today would have made anyone money if they bought DD anytime after the recession. I am still betting on Peltz to keep things stirred up at least until the election of new board members
Seems you may not be thinking Peltz. But who knows all we can do is guess. I am still in obviously believing Peltz will stir the pot at least until after the BOD elections.
MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC (MU) a BUY. This is based on the convergence of positive investment measures, which should help this stock outperform the majority of stocks that we rate. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, notable return on equity, attractive valuation levels and solid stock price performance. Although the company may harbor some minor weaknesses, we feel they are unlikely to have a significant impact on results."
Donkey you are correct on one front. Don't trust DD management ever. They look out for each other and scraps are given the real working employees. I have made some real money so for betting on Peltz.
seems technical and confusing, probably by design. We will see in stk value over the next few days. words are simlpe to spout but performance is the gold standard.
you sound knowledgeable but as far as I know it would be a guess at best. good try though for a hypocritical question
I bought another 500 shares yesterday. Just a guess about Peltz's proxy fight to drive DD price. I think $80 is a good guess for now and I don't even have a good guess to what happens with spin offs and splits. At least dividend accrues today of $.47/share payable mid March. I don't think i will buy anymore since dividend is not in play for a couple of more months.
Oppenheimer & Co. raised Valero's price target from $60 to $65 this week. Investment analysts at Oppenheimer have "outperform" rating on the stock.
Bank of America Corporation today announced the Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on Bank of America common stock of $0.05 per share, payable March 27 to shareholders of record as of March 6.
will this proxy fight take us to $80 or down to $60. I have a lot invested (at least % wise) really trying to get a handle on this beast. any insight would be appreciate.
