"I did look at the census, thought I was probably moving to a majority White region."
FL has been predominately black and Hispanic for decades. Where did you get your data?
Last time three times I visited a 'fast food' joint, they got the order wrong all three times. It wasn't a big order, just enough for me and most of it standard fare directly from their menu without changes.
Why should they be paid more to provide the same poor service to the customers of their boss?
Take away the volume and my Face Book page would accomplish the same results.
Does this guy or whoever writes from him think about what they are putting out in public?
Ask the voters in Detroit what it means. They elected 'ghetto' for about thirty years and now they are the worst city in the US.
Obama’s life before politics:
Obama’s Father – Anti colonialist
Obama’s Mother – Communist
Obama’s Grandmother – Communist
Obama’s Grandfather – Communist
Obama’s pastor – Black liberation theologist
Obama’s Ghostwriter – Terrorist
What part of this history makes anyone think that he shares the same ideals as you or I?
What part of this equation makes anyone think he appreciates capitalism or individuality?
From the Boombox cartoon:
Aren’t your proud that we have a black President? Not really!
His mother was white. His father was Kenyan. He grew up in Indonesia and attended Muslim schools.
He has about as much in common with black Americans as white people have with polar bears.
Heard a news release today about a hospital in the NW that is considered the best and in some cases the only place for certain pediatric cases that cannot be covered by many of the plans offered under the ACA. Now some patients with special children’s diseases cannot go there for treatment.
For some childhood maladies, this hospital is the only one within thousands of miles that treats for those. But you can keep your doctor and your hospital and your insurance if Obama says so.
In our system of government, that sort of power is not granted to a minority, or at least it wasn't until Obama was elected.
Why is it that most of the media is telling stories about how the system isn't working as expected. It can't be implemented on time because it is too complicated and there is too much resistance.
If people will be forced to pay more or even less, but their deductible and out of pocket costs are higher, how is that a good thing? Taxes are going to go up because of this program. How is that a good thing in this economy. Oh I forgot, Nancy says that unemployment and welfare benefits are a boon to our failing economy.
You're almost as dumb as she is.
Health care is not or at least should not have anything to do with 'bankruptcy protection'. It is supposed to be HEALTH CARE!
Second, how much longer do you think employers will continue to offer programs that are cost competitive with the government? Business has to make money, they government just spends it.
Do you ever read what you post before you press the button?
Yes, health care costs were out of control before, partly because of government rules that wouldn't allow insurance companies to sell across state lines in many cases. More subscribers could lead to lower costs. Not being attentive to all the corruption and fraud in Medicare, welfare, food stamps and SS programs for decades.
How does the fact that health care was expensive in the past make it all right to make it even more costly going forward? What kind of perverted logic is that?
With a $10K deductible and $17K out of pocket, who needs insurance? By the time insurance kicks in, you're already broke!
Think about it!
A lot of folks are thinking about it and they are scared to death that they are going to see yet another increase when this monster kicks in. If it is passed, the challenges ignored and prices continue to increase as expected, we will have no alternatives left.
Then why are most of the estimates by both liberal and conservative groups indicating that it will cost more? Is this another case of your inflated ego assuming the world is wrong and your right again?
that 42% of Americans still have a favorable view of the law and 60% oppose repeal
Interesting, that's over 100%, what polls are you getting this information from?
More importantly and more dangerously, he was mentally challenged. Being a Buddhist likely has little or nothing to do with this incident.
Republicans don't have a war against women, they have a war on against killing innocent babies.
I had no where safe to go, it was in a parking lot and I was not yet near my truck. I didn't attack anyone. I simply stated that 'I don't know what your intentions are, but be warned I am armed', and he elected to turn and go back the way he came.
I don't really know his intentions, he started toward me at a rapid pace as soon as he saw me. He didn't know my intentions either, but he certainly knew I was armed and I never showed a weapon.
Just a little common sense applied before things reached a critical point.
Martin had a choice. He was not in deserted area, he was not far from home. Perhaps if he had simply gone home and if he felt threatened, called the police, he would be back in school today.
Funny, I have had a concealed carry license for about four years and have yet to shoot anyone!
I did however point out the fact that I was armed to a Hispanic teenager waking quickly and directly toward me in a semi-dark parking lot. He left as quickly as he had approached. He was smarter than Martin I suppose.
