sarge...thanks to you we have two great message boards that are all about investing...I don't what to speak to soon, but it looks like we are still on a roll after Bloody October...to be honest, it look like SFL has settled down a lot from the past...I must be nuts as I did buy more SDRL a while ago...I also plan to buy more NADL, if it ever stops falling in share price...I am also surprised how well a lot of the REITs are holding up...
If we get a decent Santa Clause Rally, this could still shape up to be a good year over-all...at this time, I am up about 6% YTD in Total Returns and I am lucky 'to have come back' a lot from where I was...! That said, I am getting my gear ready for the yearly 'family deer hunt' this weekend...! $tagg...!
sarge...oil will always make a snap-back at some point in the future (???)....my opinion on the Keystone Pipe Line, is that it is good for Canada but maybe 'not so good' for the U.S., I do feel it will be good for some refineries in the U.S. but, profit wise, it may hurt some of the existing pipe lines we have now...! $tagg...!
Board members...I saw that earlier today...my opinion, is that the bears got to the 'Put Party' a bit late...! $tagg...!
Board members...I almost always play the high yield stocks...however, here are some of my low yield picks for future short and longer term capital gains:
YHOO, I feel the lady CEO is doing a fine job and will continue to carry the company forward (yahoo will not let me post her name)...
F, Ford makes about $10,000 off of every truck they sell and it looks like there may be already about 250,000 on order for the new aluminum F-150 that they are bringing to market...
ARLP, will surprise when the next earnings are released...the new White Oak coal mine will add to next quarters earning and the Gibson mine is under construction...
ADM, is the largest corn processor in the world and will profit from low corn prices in the short and longer term...
I do not own YHOO or ARLP at this time and so far I am well please with F and ADM....! That said, I got about a half a foot of snow last night and that is rare for this time of the year (a bit early)...! $tagg...!
rogers...excellent posted message (good for all of us), I didn't know about PBR and the effect it could have on the drilling markets...! $tagg...!
ed...I sold 'some' of my CEFL as I am a bit disappointed in it, for some reason, DVHL keeps doing a lot better in Total Returns than CEFL...I moved some of those funds into 'F and NADL' and so far it seems like a good move...! $tagg...!
william...it looks like we are seeing 'some profit taking' today in AWLCF...however, MLPL 'is doing fine' and it is now up about 33% YTD in Total Returns...! I am now up about 6% YTD in Total Returns and this could still end up a very profitably year (???)...! $tagg...!
Board members...no farmers are having a problem getting their crops to markets as most of us are still hauling and selling...! Where is the world does the Monkey Talker come up with all of this silly information...? $tagg...!
Board members...the current price of Illinois Basin crude oil is already $67.25 and down $2.75 on 11/14/14...! $tagg...!
bob...I also have a position in NADL (not core)...I am probably the only investor around that thinks NADL is a very strong company 'without' the Roseneft deal...to be honest, I don't think the Roseneft deal is all that good...
A lot of the deal is based on 150 on-shore drilling rigs that NADL will lease back to Roseneft...NADL will be lucky if those rigs run six months a year because on-shore drilling pretty much stops when the ground is freezing and thawing (when equipment freezes in the ground it cannot be moved)..! $tagg...!
Board members...first, it looked to me like AWLCF sold off because of some tax law changes...however, it now looks to me like they are showing a lot more profit from the changes in the tax laws (so it looks like a lot of investors read it backwards on the tax law changes)...! I am wrong a lot, but I think I got this right (???)...! That said, we need more poetry and Jim beam Black (it always makes a difference)...! $tagg...!
gambler...Ford makes about $8,000 to $10,000 profit on every new truck...as I understand it there are already about 250,000 orders for the new aluminum truck...I started a position in Ford today as I feel it will shine in the next 18 months (I am looking for some short or longer term profit on it)...
I also plan to add more SDRL and NADL when/if they 'disconnect' from the price of oil...also, bob made a good point about shipping companies showing a stronger profit from lower oil prices (less fuel cost)...there are a lot of things changing in the markets and we can profit from it...! AWLCF is now up about 7% today and is still running hot...! Stagg...!
sarge...I sold 'some' of my CEFL today and started a position in Ford (F) as I feel it will shine bright in the next 18 months...yahoo has not done an update on the share price of AWLCF, however at this time it is up almost 5% today...! I now have 'more dry power' and I am still shopping for value (also, MLPL is still running hot)...! $tagg...!
ed...yahoo has not done a share price update today on AWLCF, however it is up another 75 cents a share at this time (up about 5%)...this morning, I sold some of my CEFL and started a position in Ford (F) as I feel it will shine in the next 18 months...I also plan to buy more SDRL and NADL when the price of them stops falling...! I will check out LYB...keep in touch...! $tagg...!
Board members...AWLCF (yield now about 29%) has just reported an increase 'in net earnings' of 47% over the previous second quarter...AWLCF will pay a dividend of $1.15 on 12/19/14 and goes ex-dividend on 11/18/14...and the current contract backlog is about 642 million USD...! $tagg...!
Board members...while the Monkey Talker takes time to call me a pimp, 'he failed to mention' that crop insurance 'is not free or cheap' and unlike other insurance payments 'it is taxable'...! Tip, I mention, on this message board, that AWLCF (yield about 29.9%) was a good buy...AWLCF increase in value by 8% today...! $tagg...!
sarge...I have a long history of always doing everything 'to soon'...I buy to soon and usually sell to soon...on investments, we can rebound in a few weeks or maybe a few months, but on farming I always have to wait another year and 'that crop is gone'...! Its O.K. because I still have my Jim Beam Black, lol...! $tagg...!
Board members...some of the Pro's are saying that 'oil prices will go lower' because SA, Russia, Iran and Venezuela need to 'sell more oil' to maintain their current budgets...the fact is, that a lot of the main oil producing countries need to 'increase oil output' because of lower oil prices (source: CNBC)...! More, corn prices have increased about 27% in the last couple of weeks because of an increase in demand and the U.S. corn crop is not has big as was expected...! $tagg...!
Board members...I messed up, I sold all of my corn and soybeans because I thought that grain prices were going lower...the fact is, I sold all of my corn about two weeks ago and corn prices have increased about 80 cents a bu. since I sold...corn has increased 27% a bu. since I sold it...soybean have also increased but not near like corn has...
The only bright spot is, that I invested those funds, from my farm operations and caught some of the recent market rally...that said, all is not always bad, AWLCF just turned in great earnings and is up about 7% (at this time today)...AWLCF (yield now about 29.9%) will pay a dividend of $1.15 a share on about 12/19/14...! $tagg...!
update ...at this time, AWLCF is now up 'over 7% today' and will pay a dividend of $1.15 a share around 12/19/14...! Stagg...!
