When Ford rolls out the F150 in the media aa is going to really pop. No later than October. We are almost there. There is going to be plenty of coal in the furnace this winter.

Honeymoon CEO, flat sales, combined with heavy up launch and marketing. You can expect this to be a cleansing month for net profit. They will probably throw the kitchen sink into expenses while the new CEO is still too new to take any political heat for it. They will take 1 minute on current earnings and 59 minutes on 2015 and the set up for explosive profits. If the market acts like it usually does F could take a nice hit after earnings release. I would wait and buy on the dip and then hold on for the ride as Q3 will see all the hype for the new F150 etc and F will climb heading towards 2015.

    Sentiment: Hold

While the French government mulls the Alstrom deal it will be interesting to see what Americans blood on Omaha beach really means to them. Here we have an American corporation competing with a German and Japanese company to partner with one of their own. Now I know many will say that WWII was then and this is now. However, if it was your 19 year old son who was slaughtered on the beached of France so the French could be free from German occupation and war criminals just ask yourself how many years should go by before your sons sacrifice should effectively have no real value anymore. Watch Saving Private Ryan and ask yourself what was Mitsubishi doing during this time in history. Oh yea, building a war machine for Japan and the axis powers. I hope the French do not forget when they make their decision about GEs offer. What America did for them should matter!

Seems weak. My first reaction is this should boost GE stock price on Monday as it appears that Siemens and their partner want to pull Alstom apart like an over cooked chicken. Not what the French government wants. I think the French govt. would have gone their way if their offer was comparable to GEs but it is not. They seem to be desperately looking to thumb their noses at America with this deal. Interesting when you think back to the 19 year old American boys who were slaughtered at Omaha Beach. Let me think, what was Mitsubishi and their German partner doing at that time?
