Greetings Mr. Borisbeer,
The August 6th post on X a dream come true. $34.00 and change then and is almost $40 today.
Will be dining out plenty this weekend, and leaving those underpaid servers a generous tip on the X-Boys!
hope you jumped, and are ordering a 2" thick Porterhouse tonight!
More upside to Come from the X-MEN.
The steam is back!!
x up 30% in 3 weeks, while CMC drops a bit.
The integrated's are booked full thru 12/31
x-ak-and Mittal can not make enough steel right now!
Iron ore almost all time $$ low
using much more hot metal than scrap in integrated prodcution
thus scrap prices will fall and the electrics AKA--CMC will profit in next few months.
Forget tipping the wait staffs, and put your tip % on CMC the next 5 months!
That is provided you do TIP the wait staffs!
Even the old steam engines of the past were replaced by diesel locomotives.
This old steam engine going to an old museum , where they don't have enough money to take care of the historical relics.
May change the handle to
: H2O--211 degrees Fahrenheit --no steam!
Thank you for the compliment on the HANDLE" The Steamer"
an old Horse track term for back stretch STEAM!
loved listening to all the old timers tell inside stories about STEAM coming from the jockey's and trainers!
They have always said--an office is a terrible place to observe your own business--get on the floor--or as us steel states----"go take a look"
a rough time for all stel companies and their respective utilization rates--Buffet's bet on the railroad is essentially the same bet you are making on CMC stock long term. With this stagnant economy--there is short term trouble ahead, with a miracle recovery the next 5 years, this stock has nothing but upside written all over it!
Which side of the coin are you on???
Keep right on buying, until your cash runs out! When Fifth Turd bank hits the soup line this summer, your shares out to buy you a spot in the front of the soup line. Hope you like turds with your water based soup! Look at the max chart for this stock, almost $80.00 pre-splits to $1.20. Market cap is not even what the CUBS are worth on the open market. There were a few people saved on the titantic, the captain was not one of them. How you dong captain!
Just read your July 8th posting on the future of United Sates Steel, and wondering if you are related to Nostradomus???
Spot on reporting before the steel crisis hit!
I like CMC at $12.00, what is your input on CMC
Excellent long term holding as MGEE compnay has been around 100 plus years for a reason. All my kids own stock and they crushed their returns/losses on 529's in 2008. Any time the stock hits $30-$31 or a 12/PE a must buy in my book. Dane County still has slight growth, and Wisconsin a wonderful place to live and raise children. Nothing is for sure, but MGEE has been solid for decades and should contiue that trend for decades to come. Bad economy means people staying home more, and paying higher utility bills, good economy means people buying electric gadgets and running up their electric bills. Cold weaher is heat and hot weather is the AC electric charge.
Ladies and Gentleman, let the record speak for itself. On march 6th MGE dropped to under $30.00 and today we find at over $33.00 and change. an easy 10% with a TRIPLE AAA rated utility in the heart of God;s Country!
sure looks a little better than Citibank right now! Wait until the commericial over inflated real estate market has enough muscle to make the news. Another 200 billion in smeely fish out there
A drop to $30.00 represents an excellent buying oppurtunity. 4.6% dividend-low PE, and excellent rating. Madison and surrounding area, in good financial condition.
12 month hold shouls see minimum of $33.00 price plus 4.6% dividend
Have never known a utility/natural gas company with even average customer service. Nipsco NW Indiana and Com Ed
NE Illinois, rank right up there with your serive assesment of Atmos. I guess when you run a monoply like most of these service companies, you get back to the customer when ever you please, and a lot of times they never get back at all.
My tip is to e-mail Atmos with service problem, and send copy of said e-mail to local newspaper every week. Atmos may respond to your problem, if the ATMOS PR department finds out a local newspaper has been informed, and god -forbid, the newspaper prints that ATMOS is not as good as responding to problems as Atmos informs the public. It worked for me, my neigbors and I had been calling for over a year, on a open transformer line! Newspaper was informed, and presto, a utility manager playing golf, told his crews to drop everything and shore up their company image!!!
