    QUIK Gains Credability

You have lost your credibility for spelling it. Wait for the pudding to come out because that is where the proof would be. Heard this song before many times. Where is Kyocera? Where is BenQ? Where is NOK? If things were so great do you think they would have utilized quik in all devices and have that competitive advantage that everyone talks about? 5 ➕years in the making and this is what they have? CSSPs then off the shelf components from the dollar store? The reason for the change is evident.

Yep, he knows how they work, and he is there to see it through so they have confidence in what they are doing. Then ready to pull the trigger when ready.

Once people wake up and notice that Z is in this hot pain market, there will be some big buying. I expect some good volatility in the days and weeks ahead. I would suspect PFE was one of the companies that was referred to by Justin Renz as "inbound traffic" regarding interest in partnering. I really suspect that offers were made but were not up to par with what they want. Either management is being really greedy, the companies are low balling, or they've tried the drug themselves and know it works.

You don't see the problem? You can post hundreds of eye popping statistics and trends, but unless they have something to do with QUIK, then you are just making a larger fool of yourself and this company.

    MARK VERSAVEL

Gene Wright appeared to be let go involuntarily. He is consulting now. Mark came in back in Sept 2012. It seems like the plan was in place to get rid of him when Mark came aboard. Seems like he had the stuff

Whats the forecast for next quarter

You are kidding right you dufus. Lets say that order came in for the recent quarter and revenue would then be down next quarter. Sounds like someone is trying to manage the numbers. SCAM on you.

Yeah , and could they give you 3q guidance? They are unpredictable and if you think about it, this is the bubble of. revenue they referred to in the past. They had it happen before . One device gets shipped and then no more because they just don't sell.

Yes, good point. It appears they are growing together and producing results. We are going on the 4th term? They probably have a lot of combinations prepared to go into trials but we will have to wait for something material to happen like a milestone payment of 3MM. If they complete or start a phase, I'm not sure. With the little press they release, I would not bet on any news unless this will be a pivotal year as Corrigan suggested in his collaborative revenue outlook

  • steelingmoney steelingmoney May 1, 2013 9:38 PM Flag

Guess what, he is right. With a negative growth rate you don't get valuations like this. What is QUIKs guidance anyway? 10% growth? They seem to use that number in everything they say, and add the disclaimers, they are golden and untouchable.

  • +/- 10% of this quarter. Great.

  • steelingmoney steelingmoney May 1, 2013 9:27 PM Flag

Hilarious Misterchips. QUIK definitely needs some lipstick among many other things. Quite bloated. What is on your radar in semis? There is a lot of competition in this market so you either have to be very big in scale, strong balance sheet and deep pockets for investment, (i.e., INTC, NVDA, QCOM) or have a remarkable product that nobody can compete with.

  • Are they ready to add another leg to their ailing strategy again? What is the next trick they will announce? First FPGAs, no wait thats not right, too much competition, CSSPs with a visual enhancement engine!! lets see.... a bridge for outdated displays, no ....uh, standard catalogue stuff for pennies, uh, what is our next move???

  • steelingmoney steelingmoney May 1, 2013 9:07 PM Flag

You are also a skipping record. Denial is the disease you have. Steadfast in your bright and sunny outlook for the company, ignorant of anything that has happened quarter, after quarter, year after year.

    Last Good Buying Opportunity

Wow how predictable. We missed, we have a measly 1MM in new revenues, but everything is great.

"New product revenue in the first quarter was lower than expected due to a delay in the receipt of an expected large order from a tier one consumer electronics company. This order has since been received and we are on track to meet our forecast for the first half of the year,"

Jim, the way I see it is they have a scientist who in quote " was the first to describe the molecular basis for the diverse types of clinically important calcium channels expressed in the cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous systems. Inventor on over 200 issued and pending patents".

I am fairly certain that he has cherry picked much of the knowledge and valuable patents to discover and develop ion channel drugs. Most importantly in my opinion is the "state dependent" approach that goes head on with the risk that everyone fears with ion channels.

Their website explains their expertise and with Terry Snutch behind the science: it makes clear sense that they are onto developing a whole new class of drugs and selling the CHTS piece of Zalicus was the plan from the beginning to fund these great discoveries. Why on earth did they purposely establish a second legal entity for the old Combinatorx business?

-The Zalicus approach to Ion channel discovery identifies state-dependent Ion channel modulators to achieve analgesic efficacy with superior selectivity and safety profiles.

-Increased (high-frequency) neuronal activity in neuropathic pain drives channels into an inactivated channel state that can be selectively antagonized by our compound.

-Compounds designed to target the inactivated channel state will selectively modulate neurons undergoing high-frequency firing while sparing low-frequency firing neurons where channels may be predominantly in the closed state.

-The Zalicus Ion channel targets are well-validated in the treatment of pain.

  • An excerpt from their 10Q- Novartis buying out their Chalice CHTS division just makes sense with all of the jointly owned IP. Hopefully hear something next week.

The library to be screened under the collaboration consists of certain Novartis oncology compounds and compounds from our library of approved drugs and other molecules. Novartis will own and have an exclusive license to intellectual property generated under the collaboration to research, develop and commercialize their approved or active development-stage compounds. We will own and have an exclusive license to intellectual property generated under the collaboration to research, develop and commercialize compounds from our library. Intellectual property generated under the collaboration using certain compounds from the Novartis library will be jointly owned by Novartis and us and non-exclusively licensed to allow each party to research, develop and commercialize product candidates

I found it but did not purchase the report. I can say that T. P. Snutch is behind the article and it is probably cutting edge. I don't know why it is dated for July this year.
