could be lower than they actually are because some people may still play the 2014 version. Not sure if you can seemlessly move over to the new version or not. If they are both in the top 200 then you can add them up, if not then it's guessing.
Niccolo De Masi, CEO of GLU Mobile: “there’s really two things GLU is doing. One, we are very far from a one-hit wonder. We put out about a dozen or more games per year in four different categories. We have eight franchises, of which Kim is one of three biggest games, but there’s also titles like Deer Hunter. There’s titles like Racing Rivals. We are bringing out a new Terminator game this summer. We’re bringing out a new 007 James Bond game, the first ones ever made for mobile, by the way. And so we are a diversified portfolio. And the social followings of these celebrities we’re working with I believe are going to help us create long-term annuities. I wouldn’t sign up five-year deals if I didn’t think a Kim game or multiple games with her, multiple games with Katy Perry, multiple games with Kendall and Kylie could really go the distance and prove that we are building frankly multi-year annuities very, very far in terms of how we’re viewing the business much more like an annuity platform than certainly anything near a single S-curve on a product
Notice where he says MULTIPLE KIM GAMES, MULTIPLE GAMES WITH KATY PERRY, MULTIPLE GAMES WITH KENDALL AND KYLIE
I think they will beat but not as much as last quarter. As for next quarter it's hard to say, but TSB will have a #$%$ll 3 months and it looks like FC will have at least 2 months maybe a bit more. Terminator looks like it won't have time to make much of a contribution, but by that time the next quarters earnings get reported, it won't matter because GLU is more of a second half story so even if next quarters results aren't great it won't matter. That's why shorts are #$%$....
no doubt about it but not everyday. It will be a slow climb for the next couple of months UNLESS
1) they blow away earnings AND guidance
2) one of the games they release in the next few months becomes a hit, doesn't need to be a huge hit but top 25 roughly.
3) they get bought out.
4) mobile gaming becomes the next cool thing on wall street
If none of these happen then it'll be a slow climb for the next little few months.
Longs relax you got a good one here.
VR is the future of gaming, no doubt about it. It won't happen instantly, but gradually over time. The tech is already here, it just needs momentum
whatever sport it is I would assume you would be playing the game of whatever sport he/she is in, I don't see a situation where they would do what the athlete does in their daily life because let's be honest, it's usually not very much. If its basketball or whatever they would have a basketball game and perhaps trick shots and other variations on it.
We could easily be above 5 soon if Blood and Glory can move up to 50 and same with TSB 2015. We can go to 6 if both of them can or if one of them can go top 25.
Good news that Kendall Jenner is spokesmodel for Calvin Klein. She's going to be a huge star
name is kinda corny. I wonder if it differs from Contract Killer Sniper (which is still doing well)
going to number 8 would've met doubling the revenue, I think that's too much to ask and wishful thinking. Good way to thank the fans and for 11,000 dollars, i'm sure they'll come out way ahead even if they don't crack the top ten
just read the rules, total cost is 2200 per winner, so it'll cost about 11,000 dollars. Only open to Americans. Too bad, it could've boosted international revenue but should pay for itself many times over anyway
I can't see DeMasi leaving, I think he likes "hanging" with Kim K and soon other celebrities. He definitely likes himself and is confident but I agree he is very smart. He's going to reap the rewards
whether it gives them more revenue or not, I think it's great idea. A way to thank the fans and good publicity, for really not that much money.
