OK, yesterday was the good news, today the bad. Rhea Posedehl sold 25,000 shares at about $2.60 in the last few days. He still has a million or so, but looks like he may be reducing his position some.
I don't think he would add if he knew of a positive announcement coming right away. Might look bad. Still, we should be hearing something about the Fox-1P deliveries in the next few weeks.
I see that Schneider picked up 25,000 shares in the open market last week at prices from $2.45 to $2.65. I thought they were options at first, but was corrected by a twitter poster.
Seems to be getting harder to pick up cheap shares for the buyers. I don't have full level 2 quotes and you never know how many iceberg orders are sitting in the background, but it looks like the bid side is stronger than the ask side. If I jinx it, I might add more shares at a lower price.
Hmmm. Up again and on pretty good volume. 500,000 last couple days. Wonder if someone thinks AVD could be another takeover option after the MON/SYT rumors. Who knows, but SYT is down today and AVD is still up. AVD earnings were lousy and the forecast wasn't that great. Crop prices are in the tanks. Stock up 20 since the earnings call.
Fairly positive outlook. More positive than mine really. I would post it, but Yahoo makes it kind of difficult.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
Currently, Emerson trades at 15.5 times fiscal 2016 EPS, compared with a median price/earnings ratio of 17.4 times, and near the low end of its range relative to the S&P 500’s P/E. If the valuation just moves toward the median, the stock could near the old high. Expectations are low, and any glimmer of hope will get the stock re-rated upward, says Smith, who thinks the shares could reach $75 to $80 in a couple of years.
