Not me. Someone bought 100 shares at the ask right at 4 PM though. Still, there was a little volume at higher prices during the day. Selling or buying 100,000 shares would move it a dollar probably. Seems like there isn't much volume until the guys on the west coast get to work.

I have a spreadsheet with revenues and earnings going back to 1994. Total revenues since 1994 are $530 million with the peak years actually back in 97 and 98 at $42M and $40M. 2008 was $39M just before Spansion went bust. I think the new systems range from $500K to well over $1M.

I was at HQ in August, but don't think I will be able to make the Annual Meeting. Maybe you can help them put the shrink wrap on a couple of new systems and get them out the door.

Def 14A is out if interested. Anyone going to the annual meeting?

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, or the Annual Meeting, of Aehr Test Systems, a California corporation, or the Company, to be held on October 20, 2015, at 4:00 p.m., at the Company’s corporate headquarters located at 400 Kato Terrace, Fremont, California 94539, for the following purposes:

  • Samsung has just launched the 950 Pro, its first consumer SSD that puts vertical NAND (V-NAND) tech into a gumstick-sized M.2 PCI Express device. The result, as you might guess, is speed. The 512GB model, which costs a reasonable $350, can read at 2.5GB/s and write at 1.5GB/s, easily beating the company's last speed champ, the SM951 SSD. It's also Samsung's first mainstream drive to use NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express), an interface designed specifically for SSDs to help them sip less power and last longer. As a result, the 512GB model is warrantied to write up to 400TB of data. The drives use Samsung's 2nd-generation 32-layer V-NAND, not the 48-layer chips it recently announced.

The 950 Pro follows in the footsteps of Samsung's SATA-interface 850 Pro, but leaves that drive in the dust with four times the read speeds and triple the write speeds. The company is positioning it as "ideal for professionals who want cutting-edge performance, higher bandwidth and lower latency for high-end PCs" or laptops. They can also withstand 20G vibrations and 1500G (over 0.5 milliseconds) of physical shock, making them suitable for rugged devices. The best part is that, unlike Samsung's previous OEM-only drives, you can buy one easily -- they arrive next month for $200 (256GB) and $350 (512GB).

Yahoo didn't bump my updated topic to the top, but:

Just checked today and job openings were up to 61. Mostly in the Mobile Modular division. This is up from a couple of other times I checked this year, so they must feel OK about the business.

Definitely the way of the future. Would love to have a small light on each of my side mirrors that indicated if someone was in my blind spot also. Just a simple red or green indicator would be nice. Could also let you know if someone was coming up quickly into your blind spot.

  • That was the gist of an article in this week's Barron's. They had a few kind words about TXN, but in general think the bottom isn't in yet. I posted the entire article at the Investor Village AEHR Test message board if you are interested.

I thought it was a pretty good quarter also. At some point, assuming the dollar doesn't appreciate any more against the other currencies, the Q over Q negative impact of exchange rates should go away also. There was also a Seeking Alpha article today titled:

I noticed that Mr. Larson filed a Form 4 that shows he doesn't need to file any longer. I would also expect to see a Form 3 and 4 for the new CFO, Ken Spink in a day or two showing some free shares, etc.
