Ok, is the secondary over or not?

Alex, for someone that constantly let us know you were a big holder of shares and would readily buy more to "bump" the bid/ask, you don't seem as well versed in the way these things go down as I would have expected. Makes me a little skeptical of you.

Offerings to raise cash are almost always set up for institutional investors. And they are done behind the scenes swiftly. So of course, the company getting ready to do an offering has to put out feelers to see what price and offer will sell to the institutions that might bite......and should it surprise anyone that once institutions are aware a feeler for a potential offering is out there, that they might start working on running down our pps?

The recent price action all comes together now. We don't have to like it, and it is not fishy, because that is the way companies have to operate to make things like this happen.

You work so hard at distorting the truth. It is closed and completed, period! I called Aegis and got it directly from them. Fact is, the rep I was forwarded to at the company said it was already completed and closed by Monday night. Activity on the market Tuesday had nothing to do with completing the offering, but I suspect you know this, but it doesn't fit your agenda to deceive.

Mix, I just called Aegis (212-813-1010) to confirm and yes, the offering is closed and completed. Anyone that doesn't believe those that have taken the initiative to call can do so themselves, but I highly suspect misanthrope has no desire to find the truth since he has his agenda to deceive,

Not a tough decision in my opinion. You don't often get 2nd chances to buy at prices you thought you would never see again.

Bought a few thousand in the 1.12-1.15 range as well. Not happy to see my long holdings getting slashed, but certainly taking full advantage of this buying opp.

While I won't go so far as to call someone stupid for not buying and waiting or being cautious in their thinking despite Dr Kim's large holdings, I do think any buy below the most recent offering of 2.90 is a worthwhile risk to take.

And there you have it....whiteshell exposed in a lie. There has been only an insider buy in the last month and that is Kim's buy of 25,000 shares. There is no sell and these things are easy to research and prove. On to ignore for you basher.

If there is one common trend I have learned investing in bios, it is when an offering comes after good news and the pps is UNDER that offering price, buy all you can. The offering sets a "floor" on the price because you can be sure the big time players buying into that offering aren't doing it to lose money....they don't throw money around like that without a lot of research and confidence.

I suspect those that ask that are either trying to put doubt in the minds of the more gullible or they are simply too stupid to figure these things out.

Time to ignore you, because either you spew what you do because you have grand delusions of affecting investor sentiment, or you are just plain stupid and don't understand the purpose and timing issues of an offering.

Already did. It has been hanging around this level for a long time with low volume. Just seems suspiciously quiet. When that has happened in other bio stocks I own, it has more often than not been followed by a sudden climb away from the level.

What can we learn from the Dr's recent purchase?

    by ezratrades Apr 15, 2014 2:34 PM

Made a week ago.??.......Guess he is a smarter man than you then. Had he done this a buy a week ago, odds are great that INO would have kept falling with the whole bio sector beatdown anyway. What confidence would that have generated if it kept going down anyway despite an insider buy?

Have you looked past this stock at all? All the bios have been pummeled for the past week.
IMO, he timed the buy right. Did it when the lows were getting near rock bottom of strong support and badly oversold, and when many investors were panicking and getting upset. And besides, he made himself a nice buy at a low price. He is an investor too....we all like to buy low, then sell high. Why should he be any different?

Huh? Only ones getting hurt are the ones selling for loss ( weak hands, contrary to what you claim) or those who bought on margin and risk margin call. If one believes in company, you sit tight and wait for it to rebound. Or you take advantage of a gift of a buying opportunity.

    Moving back to Buy

    by goutah3006 Apr 11, 2014 10:33 AM
steverbush steverbush Apr 11, 2014 11:08 AM Flag

I am right there with you Goutah on your sentiments. Agree that going below 2 is an overreaction, but some of that is following the overall market in general and especially the beatdown on the whole biotech sector. So yes, this is certainly a buy at this level, but for me, my goals have changed. I sold the majority of my long held shares between 2.42- 2.90. PRAN has become more of a trading stock for me than the long term hold it once was. That may change in the future once more communication occurs from company and plans for current pipeline drugs are better known. But for now, I'll buy back at depressed lows like this and sell when it reaches what I consider fair value. Then keep repeating the process if possible in order to make back some of the money lost from the huge shakeout.
