what makes someone in an executive position worthy of such large sums of $ they get paid? The Answer should be through dedicated hard work, their productivity, their accountability, their decison making, their leadership in normal times and times of crisis, their time-management/delegating effectiveness, their knowledge and understanding of their chosen field/industry incl. macros/micros, and most important is their moral & ethical character. Question is does MM fit this description?
Is she worth $100M+ in shares for being CEO in additon to her pay?
Does this mean the 0.025+ distribution will post to brokerage accounts WITHOUTt shareholders filing any paperwork on 9/5/14?
The $1.78 is much less than the cash on Balance Sheet.... I don't know what else to say but something certainly stinks here.
I listened to the entire presentation... sounded very good to me. McCaffrey and management needs to do shareholder justice and get this moving along faster with significant visibility and not beat this thing to death at our expense. Yes, they gave some possibilities, incl. sale of company. What's your bottom line take?
Any idea as to what this distribution might amount to if these claims get dismissed? Also, might you know why I did not previously receive a claim form as to my eligibility to the prior settlement (shares were purchased in July 2011)?
The filing is intended to restore the original capacity which was available to Cardiome under its previous base shelf prospectus which has expired. Once the shelf prospectus is cleared and the shelf registration statement becomes effective, these filings will, subject to securities regulatory requirements, provide for the potential offering in Canada and the United States of up to an aggregate of U.S.$250 million of Cardiome’s common shares, preferred shares, debt securities and warrants from time to time over a 25-month period after Canadian securities regulatory authorities have issued a receipt for the final short form base shelf prospectus. This shelf prospectus is intended to give Cardiome the flexibility to take advantage of financing opportunities when market conditions are favourable. The terms of such future offerings, if any, will be established at the time of such offerings. At the time any of the securities covered by the shelf prospectus are offered for sale, a prospectus supplement containing specific information about the terms of any such offering will be filed with applicable Canadian securities regulatory authorities and the SEC.
what % of the company do the common shareholders own? What valuation does that % have on a EPS and a Fwd EPS basis? -Thanks
Purchased shares July 2011. I did not get any form for the small payout.... did my purchase date qualify? If so who do I need to contact? I'd appreciate honest answers... Thanks
Sounds good. it could possibly work for ALL Investors who have been terribly hurt by what has happened here. However what if Management is planning or has already stripped/transferred all/most of the valuable assets elsewhere?
Both the Chinese and American Governments, along with all other Governments should not allow a company to STEAL it's investors money due to something such as not reporting it's financials and going into hiding. The company is both successful and profitable, with numerous assets including a Office Building it had bought a couple years ago (with it's investors money). Investors are owners even through contract agreements. Has anyone here made any recent strides to contact the company, the local and national authorities, etc? If this #$%$ is permitted to happen, what in heck is this world really coming to? I have so much invested in this and have a huge loss solely due to them pulling this #$%$ola. I investment my hard earned money to perform what the company pledged it would do by going public... and that included continued reporting to it's outside shareholders. At very least the company or whomever put this on the market should refund my investment. Otherwise I would like to find these people including the company executive(s) and beat the living #$%$ out of them whereby causing them the monetary and physical equivalent pain they've caused others like myself. Anyone have any thoughts, ideas or updates?
I meant to say for instance in order to offset a small physical position by buying puts. Seems GLD does not seem at 1:1 with Feb Futures (as I calculate GLD at 96.3% of the Feb contract). GLD closed up today, while Feb. Futures were flat to up a smidge. I will take a look at symbol: PHYS and some others but would like to better understanding what is best and most closely correlates aside from the Futures/GC?
Why is currently GLD up 0.62 while the spot market is down 1.50?
For a longer term of Six months to Two years, what is the best most correlated vehicle to hedge the Gold Mkt?
- Thank for your help and Happy New Year!
