We are LUCKY that the profit taking after the 6.25-8.25 didn't leave us in the upper 5's (IMO). Now is
the time to squat and wait rather than thinking about buy and sell.
This board had been invaded with the stink of shortselling, so don't be surprised at the
flakes who pee on your shoes and tell you it's raining. This company has a long-term
plan for global presence.
You try individual or commercial MD once.....you're HOOKED! It's been DECADES since we have had
a technology for the financial industry such as MD. Inventor: Jim Debello and Mitek.....case closed.
EK never invests his own money. Lost some in Mitek awhile back and now has
set his sights on being a permanent naysayer. Just like the shorts....more fun
to be morose, dubious, and a general pain in the butt pessimist. If only he had
enough guts to actually spend more of his inheritance.
There's the strategy, right there. Growth global industry. Prices will gradually be goosed up when everyone
gets on board.
Debello says it all without humming and hawing, and frankly I don't give a damn how many sailboats or
BMW's he accumulates on the way to do this thing. Just get me my chateau in northern France!
Looks as though we have an eight-year-old who has discovered the thumbs-down feature. Thank heavens for
santurary cities and their impact on technology.
Beardpa..Both you and I wonder how anyone could abandon Mitek, knowing the potential of its products, which are now growing exponentially. Despite the fact
that "all my geese are swans," I give credit to Debello for everything that has
happened to Mitek. I know that a board of directors is about like taking your
mother with you on a date......supportive, but not creative enough to push for
the kind of products Mitek's has.....that's Debello!
Tom....at this stage in the "game," it is pretty easy to see who ate the cabbage. I harken back
20 years to one of the first stocks I admired (again one of the lone star, small diamonds in the
rough...or so I thought). I kept it for a year, nursed it to a precious $5.00/shar, sold. Just looked
at it today.....MLAB = $101/share. Conviction, patience, and persistence will win out in the end.
May you distribute your wealth wisely!
You will not see a CEO with Debello's selling abilities....especially on the road. No shyster peddler with horse blanket sport's coat and patent leather shoes has the
knowledge and acumen to adequate represent Mitek's products. In another year
and we all will have extracted a measure of wealth from what he has organized.... .not a board of directors. He's the captain...he's the straw that stirs the drink
And now you are saying that you are 'willing to settle' for a $40 buyout on a company
which has had a carpetbagger at the helm? You must have had to swallow a lot
