Yes, it's very important that the third quarter showed at least some growth in the numbers. That's what is badly needed to restore some sanity and confidence. Like you say, if revenue doesn't show an increase it will get even uglier in a hurry. Hope they will release the news next week as stated, but with all the internal turmoil that is far from certain.
Maybe the information she gave me was incorrect. It wouldn't be the first time they gave me bad info. If it is right it's an indictment of the company and their commitment to their shareholders. Inexcusably sloppy at best.
Wanted to speak to Mohan, but was told he is traveling. After him it seems like one big black hole. However, I did get to speak briefly with a nice woman who would not give me specifics, but told me earnings look to be released during the first week of December. She would not answer any other questions. Take it for what it's worth. I'd like to think they will have something positive to share with us at that point, but that's just a hopeful guess. Whether what she told me is accurate only time will tell.
If I have time tomorrow, I'll call. I called several times last spring. The first time went fine, even though the guy I spoke to gave me bad information. We waited a while and when the silence became deafening, I kept trying and kept getting stonewalled. Nobody with any authority would come to the phone to answer some general questions. I realize they can't say too much, but I've called companies before and they've been polite and forthcoming every time. I don't like being jerked around and will respond in kind if I think that's happening again. I think they know who I am because in addition to the phone calls, I sent them a highly critical and not too friendly email around the same time. Ordinarily, I would not be overly concerned, but after what happened in March I'm wary. It's the old fool me once, fool me twice routine. If I am able to call tomorrow I will post it here.
I hope I'm wrong and I would love to be, but this is starting to smell like an after the close release on Friday, if then.. You would think that after the travesty last spring they would make it a point to communicate better and at least release the numbers on time. There's still time for a heads up PR for a release tomorrow or during the morning Friday. Whatever happens, the dye is already cast, one way or the other. I've tried calling before with very limited success. They handled what happened last spring like a bunch of amateurs. Doesn't exactly lift my confidence level.
Couldn't help but see your post as it comes up for a second even though I have you blocked. You should have been a dentist as in "Marathon Man", lol. You appear to take pleasure in annoying people and hitting nerves. Sad way to live your life. Different strokes. Knock yourself out.
It's a little concerning to me, although not that unusual, that we haven't heard a peep out of them in several months. I can't imagine earnings being delayed this time around, especially with the hiring upgrade they made earlier in the year. These numbers will be very important as we all know. Logic strongly argues for growth in the numbers last quarter, but often logic can be thrown out the window. We should find out soon enough.
After the bell or otherwise. If they come after the bell with no announcement today we are all in trouble, lol. I would think we will get an announcement soon from the company in regard to when they will be released. Hopefully with an attendant conference call.
We desperately need to see sales growth, coupled with solid guidance. If there was not reasonable growth in the third quarter and the numbers disappoint, the market will punish this stock. It's a sad situation. A lot will be riding on the numbers. We need a positive surprise. I don't think we've even had one. So far it's been over promising and under delivering. Ugly combination.
Lol, clearly you have too much time on your hands.. Within two weeks we should have a lot more clarity. One way or the other.
Some questions should be answered in a few weeks. Unfortunately the company hasn't had anything of note to pass on since the last earnings call. I was thinking we would get something. I'm just looking for some growth in the numbers. If we don't get it that would be concerning.
This is a legitimate concern that's been rattling around in the back of my mind for some time. CBGDF has responded very nicely as gold has begun to stir. In fact it's up about 44% since the mid September low of .25. Gold putting in a weekly close over $1170 could be very significant. The next important resistance should come at $1225. After that the real fun should begin if gold gets over that hurdle. We just have to hope the company has the patience to sit tight. I think the potential is off the charts for this one.
Bill, very often "sometimes" encompasses considerable time. In this case it's myopic to define it by an individual day or days. We've been in malaise mode for quite a while now. I will guarantee when this pattern breaks, the action will be fast and furious. We have to hope it's in the right direction.
The greatest stock moves come after a period of deafening quiet. An oxymoron, but you get it. Everything has dried up. Reached a point of total equilibrium it seems. Hasn't been this quiet in a long time. Waiting for news to electrify this thing. If not, November earnings will be telling. Hang in everybody.
Jeff is a weasel. He's been trying for some time to get people to let go of their shares. To drop the price for him. I blocked him a while back. I got sick and tired of reading his garbage.
The price action is discouraging, no doubt about that. I think we're in a channel between 1.60 and 2.00 now. I think that will hold for the time being. I hope so. You're right about the paltry volume. Makes it very hard to get a real technical read on this thing. One thing that means little, but has me concerned near term is the continued inverse relationship ERB continues to have with the general market. The market explodes higher, ERB moves lower and vice versa. If this relationship continues to hold it could get even more uncomfortable around here near term. I think the market will continue to explode higher well into next week. In fact the S&P could rise around 100 points from here to around 2050 or even higher before a major top gets put in. We'll have to watch for that.
