The shorting is easy for me. Tokman has been a ten year easy play for them and until he scores big they control the action. Can't believe they are so strong facing the current position, but every time I think they are playing with fire, they win again. Over and over, same results.
The patents are worth three bucks. The whole company is worth three bucks. It will stay that way until someone shows they are making money with our patents. If they were worth three Billion there would be bids for the company right now. In your mind.
You're right Stockguy and I wonder why we haven't heard of anybody in the process of doing that? I want to see another F500 type company get involved to ease my mind. I want to see a UPS follow up. I want to see another customer. What bothers me most is that we have to do all the dot connecting and it hasn't worked out at all. Not one long felt that the F500 was Sharp so nobody was close. Who wasn't surprised that it came out in the form of a doll phone? I would really like to hear an update on the smaller, brighter, more efficient progress, and we won't. I would like to get a better look at margins, and we won't. There is a reason for the silence and I don't think it is a competitive reason. Hope I'm wrong. Shorts are too brazen and we don't have an answer until we get numbers from Tokman and I don't see that until April. PPS sitting here at $3 and no traction bothers me as we have had opportunity to move up and couldn't. End of year I had hoped for $5 with the F500 reveal and now I find it hard to see a catalyst. His record for CC's isn't impressive either. NO way we should be sitting at $3 unless the shorts know more than we do. So many changes and still the same old MVIS.
PE of 80? Only if we get an LG or Samsung as an MVIS direct customer which I doubt. I think we set up Sony as the Home Depot of Picop and sensors for $8M for the foreseeable future. I anxiously await the next big volume MVIS customer to ease my concerns.
Only question I have Jack is, who is going to come to us when they can go to Sony for all things Pico including sensors? What I mean by that is that we don't know how much we are going to get for each unit sold. We as investors don't knowjust what Tokman negotiated for us investors. He and the CFO don't want to answer those questions for competitive reasons as they stated, but I get the uneasy feeling that he sold us out cheap for the Sony name. Maybe he had to just to advance the tech with a name that is the best in the world and a real feather in his hat with guaranteed revenue growth to boot. I understand that, but that leads me to question who will do business with us when Sony can sell sensors, modules, and everything you need cheaper than MVIS? I see big sells like today and I realize that we are not only undervalued badly, but the shorts have no fear and the company can't generate any real, lnew sharholder interest.
Everything is coming into place for us and Sony with Sony doing all the lifting. Sales, Engineerig, and cash. I think when the infrastructure is in place and they can generate the volumes they want, they will take us out with a cash and share offer. It is imperative for Tokman to increase value for shareholders so an offer will be decent and justify all the investment here for many longs. All this will be a moot point if we see a big LG, Samsung, Apple etc come aboard and I would think we are going to stay independent. Right now Tokman seems unable to raise value.
Never. Mishandled from the First and Goal statements back in '09, and he hasn't gotten any smarter. He has soured the street on any PR's and contract news until it becomes revenue. The street looks 6 months out, but here it is always next year and that isn't good enough any more. He can't fool todays investors the way he took us early on, they want to see the money. I am afraid that it will be that way even when we show the cash.
Looks like the guys he has handed the bills to all these years are about to get another. I wonder if profit ever enters his head. He has us beaten down to a smile as validation of his business acumen.
This is typical Tokman. I believe you are correct that a secondary is on the list, and soon. I have been expecting it and it looks like he gave some friends the chance to unload.
Typical Tokman, more questions than answers. Next is the CC which he will be able to use to obliterate the pps once again.
