All I can say wishin, is that I want Tokman to be right just once. I have bought into all his verbal nonsense for years now and he hasn't lived up to his mouth once. I think he has put the effort in and this is the best he can, or ever will do for retail holders. Leaving a cancer in place to continue to kill the patient is a fools game and that is where we are. Needing more shares for the management team and we sit under $2 after years of his stewardship makes me sick. The tech is there and has matured enough we should see it in volume products. There is something else holding it back we are not aware of. Tokman will always be Tokman, he just doesn't know how to do the job. He is not an effective CEO and is a detriment to the company.
He is well known to Oppenheimer, they have his photo on the mail room wall and in the bathrooms I hear.
I'm not looking for much this year as he killed my enthusiasm with the guidance in March. I would like to see $3 again this year, but it looks to me like dilution is being prepared as I speak.
A buyout is better than watching this cancer continue and keep this company in survival mode forever.
Brian Turner, Alex Tokman, not a dam one of them know the score. They all know they want more shares for themselves though.
With all due respect Cuda, Alex doesn't control anything and his timelines are terrible.. We are playing small ball even with Sony in the game. Been looking at next year for the last eight. What bothers me is they want another 1.5M for performance bonuses. Are you kidding me?
And why would they hurry? They bought the whole enchilada for $8M. They don't care if we ever get over $2 again. They will test the market and watch it develop and make a cheap offer when they are ready. They have us right where they want us. We depend on their sales efforts and development efforts for our survival. Tokman has to get busy in AR/VR and 3D fast. Would you believe we have a Sony contract and we are under $2? Unknown production capacity? Unknown royalty payments? No news? Nothing but NDA's and they aren't worth $2. A patent portfolio that should be worth at least $5 and it is valued at $1.90 as I write this because they haven't made anybody money yet. ASM coming, and we won't know any more when it's over.
Ok vote I agree with all standing pat. Manipulation and bad management has plagued this company for a long time. On the other hand, I have watched HUD displayed on the MVIS web page for years and saw the gaming gun demonstrated and I considered that low hanging fruit, so to speak. After all, a lot of pluses are there for HUD implementation. No space or power problems to deal with and no battery problems. Looking at the products out there I don't see any volume customers yet. Putting this all together it looks to me as if it all comes back to one common problem for all, and that is our ability to supply the demand. I may be off target here as some have said, but I think when we are capable of producing the volumes they need we will be golden. I don't think management has been up front with us on that and think there is more to the production issue than we know.
Well nobody will look at it this way, but he could be looking for the 1.5M share vote. I know I have seen postings for some of those jobs before. He could pull the listings after the vote passes. I don't seriously think that is the case, but Tokman has earned the skepticism. I do believe we are going to have a pretty decent year in spite of the guidance. Have at it gals and guys.
Dumbcluck chuck couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't know me. Only one person on this board knows me. I am not from Delaware and never heard of Lightwave Logic. I have pushed INCY and BA. I am close to Delaware, hence Viewsmart.
They originally had intentions of taking an office in Newark or New Castle. New Castle would be cheaper if that had any bearing. The Newark office complex is very nice and houses some tech companies and business to business outfits. That one is very close to me so it is easy for me to follow up. Sorry I couldn't be more productive.
