I think the forward looking statements by Hillary Cramer are enough to drive this up tomorrow.
I agree, you have to keep a eye on the cash. At this point the eps doesn't mean much to me. I am focused on the updates and the need for the new facilities in Plymouth Meeting they just entered into. It all spells growth and that is what I want to hear on Monday morning.
As usual I can't find any fault with your reasoning, I just think Tokman has to succeed for his own ego. I feel he sold the BOD and has them convinced that the Green Laser fiasco is the whole story for this company. Pointing the finger at everybody else and the Board finding themselves embarrassed well into the massive dilutions has little choice but to run with Tokman. Really, what do they do now, admit they were taken? Time will eventually give us a much clearer picture of where we are and it will be soon. Hope you are wrong and we get something back for our efforts.
Listen Bull, I have agreed on everything you have said and most of your opinions are spot on when it comes to AT and the way this company has been run from the BOD to the misplaced CEO, but the tech is going to make it. I have all I want and it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I see things a little different today than I did a few months ago. Yes, nothing has changed much to propel the pps any higher, but we do now have the opportunity to begin to place a value on patents. Sony is very hungry for something to make them noticed in the CE space again and I do believe they will invest substantially in this tech. At this point any revenue stream will begin the cycle of an up trend and we can't go much lower with products about to enter the market. Auto HUD will be bigger and easier to bring to market and I am looking for some news on that front in the form of a contract. You and I have been tagged bashers for a long, long time. I am really a bagholder and have averaged down all I want to. No more as long as AT is still calling the shots, I am as averaged as I want here and now will wait for the big money to make this tech work the way it is supposed to. Anything from here down is a good entry point for anybody who has looked at this mess and is on the fence, or anybody wanting to average down some more. Good Luck.
Listen boys. We've got a hungry CEO at Sony to match the hungry CEO at MVIS. Together I see two hungry pizzed off execs with something to prove. I kinda like the atmosphere here now.
My feeling is that AT had rose colored glqasses when it came to Corning. He wasn't getting the results promissed by them and took their word without waiting for results that could be substantiated. It was always the same thing and I distinctly remember an analyst question about green lasers back when, and he followed up with Alec you're going to have to give us numbers soon. His reply was patience, just a little longer. He didn't have his eye on the ball in my opinion, but opinions are everywhere on this board. The second problem is that we weren't even close to going to market with the engine we had and didn't have a good feel for what the customers wanted before they were willing to commit. Easy to look back now and see these things and how short our product was then and what it is now. The problem is that the CEO didn't see it and/or didn't understand it, and I think that was his job.
Will the ocmpany succeed and AT be vindicated? Hope so.
You know, it was great too hear to hear tthat, but what Alex said today is just another quote he will be known for in the months ahead. Weather or not he is right this time is something I have yearned for since 2009, and that he is right just once, JUST ONCE.
They will issue more shares as needed but keep in mind the float is so small that it will take little revenue to propel this pps much higher. That is the way new tech works. This one has been brutal, but the wait is going to be worth the pain if everything develops on a timely basis. Seems to me that the roadblocks are falling fast.
And the jerk gets to speak and tank the pps again on Thursday. The SA articles are right on the money and it hurts to think he is so enept and doesn't get any better at this.
And with no support from the company or Alec Tokman it is going to get a lot smaller.
