Thanks for the info. Only way to get anything from them, what a pity. All this time and we are still clawing for acceptance.
Well vote, at 72 I don't either. I invested here thinking last year we would turn the corner based on good ole' Alec's guidance, so don't put any confidence in whatever he says.
You really don't need and invitation to invest in a company. However if you do pony up some cash you do have a right to an opinion and a right to express it. JMHO
Ben here six years. Added with "First and goal", again on "No gating issues", and again on "Walk the talk", all from good ole' Alec. How long you figure axel? Another six years maybe. Notice how he doesn't say anything now and refuses to issue PR's of any kind. What do you think the possibilities are that the lawyers told him to shut the hekk up or we will be spending all our time in court? What do you think the possibilities are that he just doesn't know anything about the tech he is trying to bring to fruition? What do you think the possibilities are that he is just too dam dumb to create enough interest to ink a contract as he holds the next best thing in consumer electronics? What do you think the possibilities are that he is a chronic liar and doesn't expect anything more than a paycheck and a ton of our commandeered stock when and if another company takes the company and the patents? I've listened to all of it for six years now and not looking forward to another six years of losses with this jackwagon at the helm. I want an end one way or the other and I would not be opposed to see another company like Sony take it and dump this king of CEO clowns. This guy has had his fun, and had his run at our expense. I absolutely hate it when guys like Karl post here with timelines that are so much more accurate than Tokmans'. I hate it when he can come in here and point out the difficulties with LBS and says when and if it will become ready for market and is closer than the company. I hate it when the other guy looks better informed than our CEO. This ride has been something to remember for life. I don't think W. Buffett is holding MVIS.
That's what gives us a real edge in investing here. We have inside info from birds. That has put a lot of us in a very good position for something. We seem to be a bit down on our investment here and have absolutely no real news worth anything, but the birdy is all knowing so we smile and let Alec Tokman take our money day in and day out. Yep, I feel great.
Wish we knew. This should be a lot easier than it is at this point. All this mystery just indicates to investors that there is something wrong yet with the tech. Company does a poor job and it's not NDA's.
Sure, lots. They just don't know how. Info on advancements to the tech in the form of efficiency, lasers etc. Test results of new engine without releasing company names etc. They just don't have the skill set to make investors aware of just where the tech is and how it is being received by our customers. A little feedback is all we need without names would give us some indication and investment help. AT's word is worthless now. Saying nothing simply indicates that all of these announcements made and no follow through means there are technical flaws and no one is interested enough to pony up the money and be first to market. There doesn't seem to be a rush to be first to market as we think there would be. If it is ready for market they should be saying something to support the company, shareholders and the pps. All the doubt and fear are caused by an inept CEO and management. We should be convinced beyond any doubt by now that it is ready for mass production and that it is best in class. I hate to see other tech being shown by our best customers and best chances of success. Things should be soo much easier at this point for investors.
Expensive too. When will this company learn the game. Worse CEO in America and then some. Yeah I know, I know, another great buying opportunity. Wonder how many that makes now?
You are certainly right about that Micro. In laymans terms, he took his best shot long ago. That is why I say replace the guy and get a motivator.
That is the most critical question. Connecting the dots haven't gotten us any where. Everybody Tokman has mentioned over the years have kicked the tires so much they full of lumps and out of shape and nobody can tell me what the technical flaws are that prevent taking this to market. By their own admission, all the parts are there and in quantity yet we just witnessed roll outs by Sony and Apple and Samsung that had nothing to do with PicoP and MVIS. No PR's from the company referencing advances in anything which would not violate NDA's and this from a company needing support badly as cash is critical. Really hard to be optimistic here with this management and seeing our best bet showing other tech at IFA.
The problem I have is that Tokman has fumbled the ball on every carry and I think the market looks at it that way. Without a contract there is extreme doubt he can get a first down let alone cross the goal line. Facts are facts and what is unknown is huge. You are correct with the question if it isn't PicoP, why not? He will never let us know.
