Steelhead, you are exactly right and I have been saying the same thing for years. I am here for Sony, Sony, Sony. I gave up on Tokman years ago as a sharp CEO with great Tech. I think Sony may have realized where the meat was after talking to STM and seeing their IP. I will give Tokman credit for landing Sony, but I feel it was the other way around and we most likely will never know the truth. WHen we get a look at the royalty situation it will be a little more revealing to me. And Tiny is correct in that an announcement from a big could make this fly, but that goes without saying.
Gotta like what's going on in this space right now. It has taken forever, but the tide has turned. Love that Viewsmart offering. Volume will dictate when we will see them in the bricks and mortar stores.
He answers the phone every time I call and he is very willing to discuss the product. Astockjoc got the same thing I did. Very busy and will be at CES with microvision. They have been working on this since last years CES.
Don't think things are that dire yet and folks may look for some growth in new tech as your theme unfolds. Could be we will look good to a lot of investors.
NOt with CC's like that. Tokman is terrible when it comes to CC's and getting the word out. This secrecy nonsense has run us into the corner we are in. Results will be the only thing to drive us now as I view Tokman's ability to do anything as nonexistent.
No, and I didn't press him. Seems to me like they are up to their necks in getting this rolling. I know how it feels to be in that position so I asked if he minded if I contacted him again in a week or so. Partner is in Asia working on the issues and I felt it was better to wait for more current info. Nice guy seems like he wants to be up front.
Don't know if I can help here, but I will try. SmartView is in the neighborhood so I may give them a call and see where they are. They moved the oflfices and I don't have the new address, but I have the phone number. Last time i spoke to them they were waiting for FDA approval, everything else seemed to be coming together. Hang loose awhile and let me see if I can get you something to chew on.
Every time he speaks it's a buying opportunity.
And what I would like to hear are the promised updates that never occur.
I have for almost seven years now and I wait with the rest of you.
It's unnecessary, but that is why we can't get any traction. How long can the few long time shareholders continue to keep this afloat? We need new investors and it is up to management to sell the story. He has to realize the ball is in his court sooner or later, and get off his dead #$%$ and start to make some noise. Dawn can only answer so many emails and give limited info, it is up to Tokman. The buck stops there. The shorts are the only ones he works with.
As a matter of fact, that is the reason I am cautious about what we will be getting from each unit sold. Looks to me as if we supplied the IP and Sony is doing all the heavy lifting.
Everything you cite it true enough, but how do you change the way Investment Banks view our management? Performance is the key here and he has disappointed for the last ten years.
