Yes, yes, yes, back when I had 88,000 shares worth somehting. I now have 18,000 and they are almost worthless. Glad Apple still loves us.
Oz, it's horrible what this guy has done with this company and all the money he has used up. This corner he has painted himself into is getting worse by the minute. I recall the post from CES about the pressure one of the visitors experienced while getting the sales pitch. It all indicated that he doesn't have a design win yet and he is struggling for anything that will enable him to issue positive PR. I surely had thought that CES this year would be the all stops attempt to secure some positive news. Unfortunately, this year was the same disappointment as all the rest. Lord, what this man has done.
Hope we hear something soon on the customer front, but what we are looking at is news on the dilution front and perhaps another RS for NASDAQ compliance front. They are the only glaring events staring us in the face and he says nothing to cause us to believe otherwise.
Watching you guys trade comments is point, counterpoint. I think Tokman being the surpeme liar he has been over the past several years plays a crucial role in keeping investors salivating for any PR from a reliable source that would indicate the man is not dishonest, just stupid. His big mouth surely raised a ton of cash refrencing big names and saying we were first and goal etc whenever a CC came up. The quality of the name dropping fell of dramatically in later years, but his theme stayed the same indicating contracts were about to be signed. Many of us have taken a real beating at his hands and nothing he has said has come about. In fact, he has guided this company MVIS to the verge of MVIS'NT. If you don't think longs shouldn't be angry and call for the company sale, you are wrong. The tech is good and will be successful in the right hands as Bull2 has said, but with Tokman at the helm continued dilution is the order of the day and won't change anytime soon. So, my conclusion is that PR is very necessary here and cursing Tokman is more than necessary for easing the burdon of holding shares here.
To say to investors after last week at CES, nothing. The worse company for sharholder support I have ever invested in. He sure had a lot to say in 2009 and 2010 to pump this tech as being ready, with customers signing and waiting for the supply of MVIS engines. Not a word since. Just issue shares and steal shares ever since.
Vinnie, as long as his articles spur investors to do some dd before puttinig cash up, I am all for them. Quality investors who do the upfront investigating make good long holders and they are welcome.
Tokman lies. Plain and simple. Everything he says is a half truth. He only tells us what he wants us to hear. NDA's provide the veil he hides behind and it covers all his lies. "First and goal" back in 2009, and " No gating issues in 2010" were the biggest that got investors pouring cash into this company. Even the staunchest of supporters here do not know what is going on behind the curtain, but they interpret that as being a great thing with "mind roasting news" about to be released. You will see it on this message board by the same guys over and over, with the results being dilution after dilution and getting more and more expensive as we go. We seem to run through companies like water through a bottomless bucket and you never hear them mentioned again. Soo many unknown companies named as customers just fade into the sunset and never heard from again. This is Tokman's stock in trade, it never changes.
You certainly hit that one on the head. Great post.
HOw in god's name can they tell the investors what went wrong or what is wrong with the tech. We would dump the shares once we were made aware of the issues. That is one reason for the hiding behind the NDA's and no PR's. No substance to the CC's etc. to keep us in the dark and continue the dilutions.
To put some money on the table with some decent size buys at this level to let investors the dilution game is comming to an end. their cash silence says dilution is far from over. Worse yet, it means we are not close to a revenue producting contract.
Good point Grand. I too am sick and tired of this secret squirrel #$%$ from Tokman. Produces nothing tangibe for investors for years now. BOD has to wake up.
You think so huh. You think this Tokman failure is still capable of signing a real customer after the long list of unknowns he had on the line? You think he has the ability to something other than dilute the hekkk out of sharholders at this point? Well, I hope you are right.
