And loving it, but I still believe that it will take institutional ownership to keep any gains we see. It can't get any clearer than what we have seen lately and the pps is still struggling. We are a retail owned, much shorted company that needs big money invested. That is the formula, plain and simple. Slumpy still reigns supreme here and has for a long, long time. There will be a change soon, but until I see Tokman make this attractive to the tutes, we will still be under the shorts control.
If you listened to the CEO and his road shows, you are among a lot of unhappy investors. All of his words of encouragement and references used to hype the stock and the science have not produced the results anticipated. You don't hear much any more. Everything is quiet and even PR's are not met with much movement. He has lost his mojo. The impact from the Roche departure on 5150 has been huge. I have seen the change in attitude in long holders now and it is eroding more and more. We need data and partnerships and it looks like data is now the driver. I'm as sick as everyone else on the Peer Review side.
What I saw was ownership overview. At the bottom of the page is Peer Comparison and that is where I got % owned by institutions 18.01%, and under that, % owned by funds 3.99%. That is where I got he 22%.
That is why I use Morningstar. I see July dates listed, so I think they are right up to date. Encouraging to see the increase there. I think they are accurate.
I would like to see the interim data on anything. The world is waiting for data, any data. The lack of data is killing us along with no partnership interest in quite awhile.
I live near enough. They are very happy with the results last year and this, and can't control the pps. They are also looking for some news in the second half. In other words, they got nothin' right now.
I am convinced that there are interested parties preping for a bid. I continue to think we are far too cheap to go without an offer. My only concern is Tokman and the BOD and all their shares. This company is going to fly if half the rumors or less are true and I can't see the bigs not wanting to control this tech, even if it's just for the next five years.
That Lenovo shot was louder than we think. Everybody has been working on this for sometime now and the big bucks will start to show themselves soon. It's about time MVIS started acting like a real company. It is going to be a really good time for longs.
So 100, you are saying it will be a few quarters before we see pps growth, as we shouldn't see really decent numbers until the Q1 or later?
