(DPRX), today announced that its two pivotal Phase 3 clinical trials, known as OneStep-1 and OneStep-2, have passed the 25% enrollment milestone, in the aggregate, with each study having enrolled nearly the same number of patients.
The OneStep Phase 3 clinical trials are being conducted under a Special Protocol Assessment (SPA) agreement from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for evaluation of Locilex® (pexiganan cream 0.8%), the Company's novel, broad-spectrum topical antibiotic peptide for the treatment of patients with mild infections of diabetic foot ulcers.
