I'm in the, "if no buyout by year-end, then buyout will not be for a year or years". They will be bought out at some point, unless they can find a way to significantly expand the pipeline. But even acquiring one or two or other drugs could just be them attempting to become more attractive for takeout.
Hey for anyone else interested in a good short...PTX. I don't short stocks personally, but that stock is sitting high and is a dud. They have leveraged the whole company on one drug (another NSAID like ibuprophen). Not a great company...
I appreciate TJ! I will be here a little longer...getting impatient about the buyout...I'm not optimistic on the company going alone. I would HOPE they would consider a buyout. It is absurd to think otherwise (regardless of what some on this board believe)
Good advice sadie. I would advise only selling the portion that you are worried about seeing a $1-$2/share loss on. That is what we're looking at. Everything else should be a hold.
Really...? Do you know soon were the filings made in relation to the buyout announcement?
Honestly, Array's CEO has done a decent job strategy-wise. The payoff has not yet happened, but it will. He has set the company up for success over the long term.
The stock is trying to bounce a bit here. If we could just get a little more volume and some NEWS, then we could get going. Where is Novartis when you need em?
Yes, it is possible. By the way, if you have any free funds, you can always average down. Volume picked up a little bit the last couple of days, so I'm thinking we have bottomed for now.
Thanks Burnaka. I am curious as to the confidential information, but I am more interested in the Novartis announcement. This stock is badly in need of news.
Surely. I can't believe you missed the exact bottom! Ah well, KERX is a winning company. That's what matters.
