I would guess that the high call volume as compared to minimal put volume could possibly mean that there is a potential upside before 3rd Fri in June.. The disparity of the volume between $50 Calls Vs $47.50 puts is a very siginificant indicator of the potential upside. Typically, those with "possible" inside type information would buy short term calls to capture the upswing. Considering Sina being a chinese company, I would suspect that it would be much harder for SEC to nail the perpetrators. That might be the reason for such an obvious call purchase. I hold July calls and I have no inside knowledge.. I am hoping that, since the calls you mention of june calls, I am in luck! lol.

I don't know whether the valuation should be $75+ or not.. I am not an expert on this subject and Sina..
but having read the quarterly report, I saw more positives than negatives.. Their upcoming hong kong ipo of (forgot the name)... etc..

Also, how much did sina invest in alibaba - if any?

I get feeling that sina knows how to invest right into upcoming companies? Am I wrong?

I am thinking buying more into Sina.. especially with $500 million share repurchase program..
What am I missing? Why did this fall so badly, yesterday? I realize that there was a miss of analyst expectation.. but the report seemed to be more positive than negative. I read it and didn't hear it.. someone wrote that CEO sounded nervous.. Some times, with eastern cultures.. being polite might sound for westerners, as being nervous - especially, if they are simply stating the truth and not trying to "fluff it up".

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Its partly true.. You should search google for "tzoo stock split".. Essentially, its meant for people who own less than 5 shares.. I didn't realize that there would be that many people with 4 shares or less.. NO, tzoo is not going to buy out your stock, if you have 5 or more shares.. (not sure whether it was 4 shares or 5 shares reverse/forward split). You can google and easily get the answer.. They are not going to pay you anything more than the existing stock price at that date.. btw, this was only a proposal and I don't think it was ratified by the board.. It probably would be.. but not yet done..

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
