  • I did a detailed blog on YELP ipo for tomorrow
looks like now will be priced at $15 vs. the 12-14 expected

search on goog "yelp ipo stockguy22" & you see what i think about it. i also posted some charts of IPOs i've played in the past & how the drops are good way to trade these into those Quiet Periods & Lockup periods.

longer term with Facebooks' help ZNGA should continue to do well
Also should be a good play into the Facebook IPO

Any good dips on ZNGA should be good buy opportunities-- There's been 2 nice drops on ZNGA since the IPO and a bit upset i missed them but will be watching it closer from here.

    Happy Trading,

i added another chart as of close on VVUS
to show how it hit that 50% fib retrace point and it acted as resistance

    Chart here: http://sg22.ly/xNUnCH

Hope you enjoy the analysis, let me know

  • Thought I’d share this chart & notes on trading a stock that drops quickly intraday

Like VVUS did after the FDA rumor/news

    Chart here: http://sg22.ly/xNUnCH

As I'm typing this VVUS is having trouble breaking through that 50% Fib level

Let me know what you think

    on the Jan action

  • As some of you know I did very well on DNDN in 2009
made over $100k overnight on a $50k+ investment check screen shot here: ( I didn't mind posting it then since someone didn't believe I made that much on one stock)

    http://twitpic.com/3b0dm/full
that's how i got popular on twitter initially (now over 50k follow my tweets since my trading was definitely not a one hit wonder)

recently I made over $21k in the DNDN January pop along with other members that follow my charts & picks:

I rebought the dip & don't mind DNDN it in this $14 area

Let me know what you think of this analysis:

I had traded JEF in Nov 2011 but got out of it into the Nov/Dec 2011 pops ( I had scaled out , still made great profit & %'s on it but sold a bit too soon)

There's been 3 nice buy signals on JEF as you can see on the attached chart even after i sold. The buys are similar to patterns i noticed on many stocks in 2009 - dips into the 20day sma's (simple moving average.

Here's the full analysis ; If you like it let me know
