In the last 2 days, INTC is down over 6% due to the UK vote. Do you think BK and the BOD are smart enough to buy a boat load of stock knowing they can borrrow money for less than the Div. payment? If they do it would go a long way in restoring confidence in INTC's management. What's your take?
Looks like the Fed will be delt another blow in their quest to raise rates. Could QE-4&5 be coming?
Looks like they're worried about losing a ton of business. Nobody cuts prices when things are going good.
Big boys got caught with their pants down Monday. Had to bring it down to protect their short position and buying shares for the ride up.
Sure hope your right. We could use some positive news and stock advance.
Agree - If they had a brain they would call Hector Ruiz the old AMD CEO. That man could sell ice cubes to eskimos. If they did, INTC would easily be a 50 dollar stock.
INTC continues to drop. Were the worst performing stock in the DOW. BK continues to rearrange chairs on the Titanic. INTC was at 35/ share in Dec. Last month we were at 32.68/ share and now were at 29.75 and still dropping. You would think these bone heads would be buying shares but I don’t think senior management has the brains that God gave them. What I really don’t understand is why they hired back Aicha Evans the head of mobile if they’re getting out of mobile. If logic would prevail that would mean that INTC has something big on the horizon, possibly a MSFT and or AAPL deal coming shortly. If not the whole senior leadership team should be terminated for gross incompetence.
Has anybody taken notes on how many analysts have down graded INTC since the CC. Would be interesting to see how many down grades and earnings down grades have happened. Good news is there have been a lot and that leaves very few to go.
Gotta admit you have what appears to be a valid point, but if your wrong, we could enjoy a very well deserved ride up.
The good news is 4 billion dollars translates into 80 cents per share on the bottom line. Multiply that by a paltry PE of 12 and we get 9.60/share increase in share price. If we went with the S&P 500 PE, we would get a 15/share increase in price.
No I didn't see the trade. It just showed up when I checked the market about 9:27. Sure would like to know whats happening.
Looks like I may be right. The next question is who bought all those shares and the 37 million at the open today?
