1) say no to TF reverse merger
2) Be Transparent with wall st / investors
3) improve PR dept / press releases
4) report financials on time and accurately
5) stay the course, get the right people in right position. ( tip 1) hire Rich Selby I like his persistence to getting to the truth and understanding on impact to Wall st / investors
6) last but not least do what you say you're going to do the 1st time without (hesitation) anything less makes wall st and investors question your intentions. Credibility is everything !
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Agreed if you were short term and Margin which I am not! short's never picked my pockets because I never gave them the opportunity to do so. However I did give the shorts the opportunity to prove the allegations which I might add was very lame by all standards!
Now the tables are turned and I'm going to appreciate your contribution to my retirement account! If the short allegations on NQ was the best you had then I suspect I will retire well before I planned. But I just want to say Thanks shorts in advanced I promise To spend my new found money wisely!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
SETH lack of response says it all lack of confidence of SODA ever returning to old highs. I concur
All one need to do is the research on both companies, allegations of short sellers and what each company did to combat those claims.
Shorts are exhausted and keep rehashing the same #$%$ with the exception of the 20-F, earnings reports cash on hand, and corruption by management. The very initial allegations that shorts said would take down NQ. Yes you guessed it, all delivered on a silver platter for all to see.
Now NQ is in the Drivers seat, 80 million dollar buy back, Mgmt's buy back of 4 million in personal stock all being implemented now.
Shorts won the battles but are about to lose the war. Shorts never even remotely gained (Credibility) and couldn't support with valid proof / documentation!
It's coming to the end for shorts one small step away from major alliance followed by hedge / mutual funds buy in. In the end which side told the more compelling story, which side followed through with proof / validation.
Shorts to date (0) follow through
NQ checkmate on all points!
P.S. GMCR up 6.50 with new contract with Snapple/ dr pepper for Keurig cold ( interesting)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Do you really believe Soda can make the same turn around that GMCR did? Possibly new management? New partner? It's obvious a buyout by a potential suitor is out of the question, at least at this point in time. It seems like SODA has lost it's focus / direction
Buyback is in motion to stabilize stock and large player ready to move in. I predicted this sequence of events over 8 months ago it is about to happen. Watch and learn.
On another note hope the sec plays close attention to Paul G. He deserves a knock on the door when he least expects it! Let's hope for the Karma for Paul.
If that theory were true then SBUX Verisimo would have been great competition to K Kups platform. Agree or disagree.
One group more desperate than mgmt! By the amount of posting you've been doing no need to explain.
By the way I'd suggest you keep some Pepcid and tumbs close by, that upset stomach you've got will only get more irritated with time!
This is text book, one only need to look at sequence of events with GMCR. NQ is following the same route, GMCR did. GMCR initiated buy back witch was followed by large partnership with KO. NQ is at that stage large partnership to follow to create moat around them, shorts know it's coming and soon.
Looking for a BABA / SoftBank / Tencent / BIDU ect..time will tell
Shorts said same thing about GMCR when it hit 20.00. Were the shorts right? Take a look at the stock price today it will erase all doubt who was right. Sad thing for shorts is NQ will make it a repeat performance!
Agree on points but if NQ management expects to come across as credible then they need to stick to plans (or) give enough time to investors to process the changes. Any Credible management team knows, you give up your credibility it will take you 10x that to get it back. Do what you say you're going to do or explain in detail long before it comes out. Not so hard to figure out.
Greg didn't ask me but I'll throw in my .02 ( say what you're going to do and do it) don't switch gears shows that mgmt. I swishy washy. This will be an uphill battle
Kind of like the founder of GMCR ( Mr Stiller) left GMCR was at 20.00. Where is it today well my stock ticker says GMCR is at 137.42. So to answer your question is it always bad when founder leaves? That depends!
