Sorry wasn't imply you were playing games, those big firms playing games with us little investors.
Yes also in the could have, should have, state of mind set on several stocks, but what are you going to do, buy, sell, or hold......
So holding and waiting for Weds, then going out looking at rocking chairs...
Great always some one playing games. Thanks for your opinion, but shoot no rocking chair.
Yes, holding these cheap share companies, and knowing a lot about the one you own, always makes one wonder why it is so low. HTM just needs to become a fad stock, with all the environmental benefits, do not understand why it hasn't already.
Still waiting for Weds.
Well some one is buying. Strange the price has been slowly dropping again these past few days, with such great reports.
"U.S. Geothermal Inc. (NYSE:HTM) major shareholder Jcp Investment Management, Llc bought 440,656 shares of the stock in a transaction on Wednesday, May 4th. The stock was acquired at an average cost of $0.77 per share, for a total transaction of $339,305.12."
Another related hype job says, "U.S. Geothermal Inc. (HTM) Sees Large Drop in Short Interest"
"U.S. Geothermal Inc. (NYSE:HTM) saw a significant decrease in short interest in April. As of April 15th, there was short interest totalling 628,736 shares, a decrease of 2.1% from the March 31st total of 642,226 shares,"
"HTM has been the subject of several recent research reports. Aegis assumed coverage on shares of U.S. Geothermal in a research report on Monday, April 25th. They issued a “buy” rating and a $1.30 price objective for the company."
Lets hear from the real hypester on Weds. Mr Gilles himself and his dreams. Hope they are all coming together, and we get the buck and beyond soon.
Now that is an interesting position. Certainly new to HTM to be hiring such a high level IR person. Gilles must think there will soon be a need for such an individual. The future of HTM is coming fast, before you know it, 90 MW and quarterly dividends....
"Investor Relations & Communications professional who can focus on the following priorities:
Build a strong, sell-side analyst following and maintain and grow buy-side participation
Promote the competitive advantages of geothermal as the most reliable renewable. It is baseload power operating at nearly 100% of the time, compared to intermittent wind and solar power which operate 25-35% of the time.
Assist management in developing and growing capital markets awareness and participation in US Geothermal as it executes its growth strategy.
Mr Dudley, I wasn't able to listen to presentation, could not figure out how to log in, and not sure it was a public presentation. So far a new presentation has not appeared on the HTM website, but with today's nice price movement, somebody likes something. About time!
Nice write up. It will be interesting to hear what Doug has to say tomorrow.
Certainly some of the alternatives was figuring out what to do with the 3 plants they have in storage and what to do with the Geyser site....
Good volume today with no price movement is strange. Always someone, or some firm flipping, for a few pennies.
The Q and A was even more interesting.
Also another presentation last Monday, on the HTM website, is pretty informative as well. Looks like 2018 should be a big year for HTM with almost 90 MW coming on line by the end of the year.
So hang in there, or don't slam the door on the way out.....
Interesting video was posted on the EESI site, worth watching. Our man Doug gave a good presentation starting around 55 min. Gave an informative whine about dealing with BLM. Two of the other 6 presenters were worth watching.
google this if interested in watching. .... "The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) and Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) held a briefing highlighting the state of the geothermal energy industry and its near-term prospects in the United States and in more than 80 other countries working to expand its use.
