OK, I'll answer my own question. Not that many shares left to short. Spend $6,500,000 roughly make the MM's hedge and crush an illiquid stock. Fundamentals mean nothing in SODA. They could sell a billion machines and the stock would go down.
To me it's playing out like it did a couple years ago where it went from 42 down to 29 for no reason. Earnings came out, popped 25% to 36 or so and then gradually sold down to 32 before running up. Sorry for all the misspellings and bad grammer. I'm guessing this goes lower till earnings (or Jan opex) then pops. If one plays it right could make 2x-3x bagger on calls. Not that great risk reward, just what I have personally learned from taking a beating on options on this stock. Just owning the stock I've done fine and is probably the way to go. Unfortunately some of us are degenerates and need to feel pain to know we're alive.
Nobody gives a #$%$ imo. Been long since 30, 40, and 50. Decided long time ago I was going down with the ship. Probably not wise and I am probably the ideal retailer for wall st to rape, but F it. When articles say Soda is the most hated stock on wall st. they are not kidding. Look at all the beats on previous earnings the past two years and it goes up one time. This will be bought out, justice will be served. Just a matter of when.
At this rate, we will be, come 2016. Now that's respect! A billion dollar valuation with a billion dollars in sales. Will be making my drinks extra fizzy that day in celebration of absurdity. Cheers
"The volume of the stock should decrease along with the price during the cup and should increase rapidly near the end of the handle when the price begins to rise."
The suspense is killing me
Off the record, no bs what's your opinion of the heavy put buying. Is it protection or speculation? Thanks in advance, not holding you to anything, just would apprecitate your thoughts. Stocks
Looks like "they" are getting ready to release a bs pr such as Einhorn is short soda. They have already used that one twice so it will be interesting to see if they write something new or just click, copy and paste.
65. 62.50 nearly identical. Makes no sense for "THEM" to keep it under 60 by Friday. Will be interesting to see where we end up close Friday. BTW, is it me or is this board gone to #$%$. Can't believe I'm posting here. I feel the need to throw my clothes in a bucket, burn them, and go curl up in the shower while loud Jazz music is playing.
