No argument there. But it is my observation that most of the movement we've seen since last quarters earnings report has been nothing more than noise. The volatility keeps options players happy but the rest of us are just waiting for next months earnings report. Given the tenor and nature of the news since last Q, I expect that guidance was considerably on the low side, hence the doldrums we currently trade in. Most appear, to be expecting a nice fat juicy surprise in 6 trading days. I am not betting against them. No covered calls for me. I believe that the risk here is in shorting and the negative news impact of last quarters guidance was set within hours of the news and is fully "baked into" share price in the meantime, as a result of multiple fluctuations between 20-21 and 24-25 dollars per share.
