Anyway, a week or 2 back I posted ~~~"every time Au hits 1327 it gets kicked i the nads". last thursday night I was cheerleader hoping it would close the week over 1327 on friday. Sometime between Thurs. night and monday AM the kick in the pants came again. Anyway my posts are gone so ranther than whine too loud I am posting this as a reference so I can come back to it from time to time. Hoping to see Au sit above 1327 for a solid week or 2. I still have my Nov 1, 1450 prediction out there... we will see.

It does upset people to see the board degrade 'into' politics but lets face it, this is an oil and gas company so everything is about politics. The Middle East, The Keystone XL, Venezbleepinguela and so on. It does matter which idiot is in the white house AND how he behaves.
We consume x barrels of oil per day. When POTUS drops the ball or throws up a road block it sends ripples through the oil traders and the supply side suffers but we will consume x barrels.
So if you don't want politics on a board, buy a publically traded company that builds widgets!
And as you trade this company keep in mind the POTUS Hates everything but green energy. Of course his last venture into green was nothing more than a pre-election money laundering scheme but the more he messes with coal, the higher oil will go. He really does hate this country in case any of you sycophants hadn't quite noticed yet and if he finds a way to eliminate slant drilling and hydraulic fracturing trust me, he will. These oil companies give millions to our political process and have no problem jacking up the price/barrel. And the Middle East is a bleeping mess. Even worse than the mess G Dubya made out of it. See what tomorrow brings. GLTA Lighten up on politics, that is the nature of this trade.

''oversold' is not necessarily bad.' Well oversold is definitely better than cheap. the last time a bought a stock because it was cheap,,, it got cheaper.
No mercy for the miners... my prediction of 1450 Au by nov. 1 2014 may be one month early. ...Better days... disclosure ... I do not own this pig... yet and lpet is right about a bit more time before the short assault ends. Gotta get into september.

"CDE is a trading stock at best" With the poor performance in the past couple of years this has become a trading stock without an entry point. Aka " A Dog".

  • Wow, these guys are as dumb as I am.
