The quality and diversification of the loan portfolio is great, the dividend is excellent (even with the recent cut) and 100% of the distribution is attributable to income, not return of capital or capital gains. What's not to like about that? Clearly the fund isn't cannibalizing itself to pay its dividends like so many other short-term loan funds are doing. That said, I'm not counting on the extra dividend this year, seems presumptuous since management cut the basic monthly dividend substantially.
I no longer watch CNBC in large part because it has an obvious vendetta against Apple. Watch Melissa Lee's sour face become even sourer when she mentions the company, she looks as though she is going to hurl. Comcast and Apple are competitors. CNBC is owned by Comcast.
