all I can guess is you have the full report they charge for "$95.00 World Silver Survey 2013"
the summary reports don't have any miner data. I looked at the 2013 summary, the 2012 summary, and the interim reports for those reports. Since you won't post the title, and are getting mad...I give up.
If you would do the common curtesy of giving me the name of the report that makes you so mad...I will go read it larry. I have asked six times now.
the silver institute is not the name of a report. It has a title....post it.
organic...in what sense...the chemist definition, or the organic food definition ? Synthetic pesticides (for example) are organic chemicals using the terminolgy that chemistry uses. No synthetic chemical can be organic per the organic food definition.
That is fine lynne, I know well to do people that are very motivated to save money...nothing wrong with that.
now, why do you LOVE Walmart ? Savings, shopping experience, product selection and or quality....what motivates you ?
I've stopped going there (guess I am upper middle class too)...I use to, but I can get most anything they have somewhere else for a similar price if I look. And I really don't care for the big box experience they provide. I do think some slobs shop there...from the looks of trash I see in the parking lots. But slobs exist everywhere.
:) Well, I for one will look forward to the next report by the silver Institute. Your assurance that the data is wrong is a bit weak and certainly unsubstantiated.
As a suggestion, never go into research, engineering, science, business administration etc. Those professions demand data and references. Hearsay just doesn't cut the mustard.
what is "it" ? you keep asking why the reports have wrong data, and after me asking 5 times "what report" you still can't answer.
I am asking nothing other than the title of the report you say is a lie. it has a title doesn't it ?
search "silver institute publications" the first hit that comes back is the list of publications....it is a whopping dozen or so...post the title of the report. ti will take you about 3 minutes.
was that an honest posting ? It made me quickly listen to the conf call (linked on their site)...I fast forwarded to the QA part and heard the divi question....I thought he said it would be announced before q1 results were published.
anyone else ?
so the counter point is an idiot in the white house (your defintion of idiot seems to be based on beliefs, not intelligence)....and everyone is unemployed ?
well, pardon folks if they move past that arguement to something a bit more honest.
in my experience, those that call others stupid, and idiots...quickly look the part.
and I am not an obama fan.
I don't think the number (threshold is a million), and for such a system, it is still incremental tax....not retro for all money made leading up to a million. So you wouldn't pay 90 % on the entire million. That was not how it was implemented back then either.
My thought....4 million per year is the threshold...anything over that taxed at 60 %...maybe some ramping into that.
To much taxes...cry me a river. I love the ultra rich who give back. I think poorly of most rich and their self absorbed me first attitudes. Their kids often are whinney wienners too.
And un American is perspective....not some predefined set of rules based on taxes.
I would consider that ideal to be as practical as mr fox's implied societal ideal.
I get your point...if creating wealth is the one and only objective of society.....to many (even the majority) it isn't.
seems overly broad and a bit disengenious. Based on my life observations, folks with money (aka, what you call rich), often spend their money in their lifetime, and the thought that the rich just keep passing it on is more myth than reality.
Second, the top 1 % often parrotted by folks....aren't really rich...350 K per year is doing OK, but I know people making that that spend every penny.
lastly, such overally broad statements are like saying all teachers and priests oggle kids, all city managers steal from the residents, all hospitals intentionlly give patients the wrong meds...etc etc.
get my drift ?
alternatively, if you think "capitalism" is evil...how about sharing the country that most eptiimizes your ideal social, economic and poltical standards....mr fox
geez, larry, you avoid answering very easy direct questions....say the name of the reports, and the years, and I will look them up. I clearly stated which Silver Institute report I used, and which ABX report..
Else, I have little to no ability to look them up.
Studies have shown, when an issue, or person is disliked, the memory becomes selective and only negative points are recalled. I am guessing you don't like our president, or the great cell phone handout :)
Personally, I would like to cut cell phones, and military spending....both drastically.
Barry who ? the guy on Storage Wars ?
I looked at abx/s 2012 report (since that is the year that matches the 2013 Silver Institute reporting data).
I could not even find the silver out put value in the 2012 ABX report...I could have missed it, but I searched the pdf for the word silver and looked at every hit I got. They gave figures for gold and copper, and the gave reserve and mine estimates for all three metals.
I think I still might need more. The 2013 silver summary report (which covers year 2012) is what I pulled up...I searched the pdf for Barrick..the only hits I got were on the sponsor pages...nothing in the text came up. I also skimmed it, but found nothing. I just searched it for BHP, and Brillion, and got no hits.
The report I was referring to is called the World Silver Survey 2013 A Summary.
Are we talking about the same report...I do know they put out a fuller version one has to pay for...was that it. ?
if you thinks so, that is OK by me. I still think I was pretty accurate with my statement "Although you think it contains lies...if it does the major silver miners pay for the report, and I think they might be a bit upset if they were associated reporting lies"
you think major miners are involved with misreporting supply and demand...my opinion is it is in their best interest not to.
we differ I guess.
Not sure about ABX...rather than being cryptic, how about posting what you find a misrepresentation....people can't guess what you are going to say ??
rather than being crypitic about it...say what you know ?
These are the sposors listed on last years reports...I don't know what bankers you are referring to. The are referred to as the "major funding companies"
Barrick Gold Corp.
Cia. de Minas Buenaventura, S.A.A.
Coeur Mining, Inc.
Endeavour Silver Corp.
Hecla Mining Company
Industrias Peñoles, S.A.B. de C.V.
Johnson Matthey, Inc.
Pan American Silver Corp.
Silver Standard Resources, Inc.
Silver Wheaton Corp.
just basing it on trading volume....really. I think the volume has been only moderate for the last month or two. And the price has been drifting lower.I have a fair grasp of the obvious :)
Long term up, sure, how long term is the question.
I will be interested in the global silver report, although you don't believe the numbers, I find it the best source of annual data from major producers and global mints. Although you think it contains lies...if it does the major silver miners pay for the report, and I think they might be a bit upset if they were associated reporting lies.
