not by me...but ddd I looked up, it seems familiar...I had thought about shorting that one a few months ago...hind sight says I should have. I just thought it was riding the 3d printing wave a bit hard.
I see FCX...I have UPS. JPS looks interesting..but would have to look to see what is inside (didn't have a profile listed). CSX...well, I understand that one.
overall it looks like you have similar objectives as me for my long term (retirement) investments. I don't use screens but I bet we aren't far off. And thanks for the ideas ...we will all differ on our opinions but it is good to get ideas.
if you feel a bit small cap...take a look at ITI....it's not in my retirement investing, but I have traded it for a couple years...seems like it got past some bad juju with a CFO issue the last few months. do your DD.
I have GE, only for the last 6 months...not a great performer.
had ABBV....but sold when they decided to off shore (should have not bought GE for that reason...so I am inconsistent).
FCX and RIO of late...just trying to get in early on commodities :)
HES..kind of like that one.
Been riding SLCA and GBX might be late to get in on that (and you may not like fracking so there is that)
thought it quite a conincidence I watch some of the same boards.....you seem to like 400 block size too.
I have some PSLV...but don't tend to play much with options (more losing in my history than winning). I do tend to pick maturity and strike prices like you did here...when I do.
when I was reading about some of the pro and con's of Scotland's initiative...I started thinking of them applied to Texas. Folks don't tend to think of hte positives about being part of a bigger gov't. Texas would have to pick up (same or differently) all the programs and issues the feds deal with. When my company spun off as from being a division of a large company...we had to recreate all the corporate structure that the parent company dealt with....it was quite expensive. Easy to second guess big brother...not so easy to deal with the issues, costs, etc big brother took care of.
food for thought post....good one.
I'm guessing Scotland will vote it down...jmo
what...I thought Germany did have problems with internal terrorists.
"A Persistent Threat: German Federal Police Warn of Neo#$%$ Terrorism
In an internal report, Germany's federal criminal police have warned that the threat of right-wing extremist terrorism remains high in the country. The paper obtained by SPIEGEL notes that in addition to foreigners and immigrants, police, politicians and celebrities could also be at risk."
"Germany Working on Banning Islamic State Militant Group
Move Comes After German Nationals Travel to Syria to Support Radical Faction"
your fact checking needs work...mr checker.
they should revise the Frankfort airport so you don't have to bus to the terminal to change planes.
And they should lower the cost of kids getting drivers licenses so they don't become hs exchange students just to get drivers licenses in the US. I was surprised when one I know said that is why he came to the US.
I think the exchange student also say testing results (and other qualications) are used to determine if (not which school, but it) you can go to a university. Sounds a bit harsh. With that criteria I would not have gotten in to get two engineering degrees because I pretty much didn't attend my last two years of HS (bottom 10 % of class)...one should be able to recover from poor early life decisons and move forward.
just teasing a teaser...one of my foibles
barista's don't make the best sources.
I think Mitt learned his leason...folks just won't vote for someone who straps a dog on a car top for a vacation.
not sure...since the question relates to being endless I would vote for america being endless. Need to rethink the question statement.
that gun nut show out of a south coast state is another....like monster trucks for guns (and I am a gun owner so don't go there)
DD is one of the shows I just don't get, and I have a blue collar outdoor kind of background.
Saw a house recently that is painted in camoufloge......don't quite get that either.
there's that. While many are mad at Obama, my disdain goes more to the parties throwing the hissy fits at each other. That obama rubs people the wrong way...I get that.
I got my chem eng degree at univ of wisconsin, and ms env engineering degree in chicago.
and you ?
it is irrelvant for fracing too....because I well would not be impacted by the activity (or at least in predictable ways that one could site a well to drink from)
I have a background in hydrogeology by the way.
the owner has a choice...one, don't live there...two, have a holding tank and have it pumped rather than perc it to groundwater. (I owned a rural business where I did this).
They choose to flush it to groundwater, because it is cheaper and easier.
the point is to assess real risk, and not just mindlessly target corporate risk.
At the risk fo being obviousl....we want cheap fuel...we want companies to be 100 % safe. Those two objectives are mutually exclusive. If we were to accept a say doubling of cost to reduce risks...we might get a say...20 % increase in safety. Bad companies...give me my cheap fuel.
