btw, that answer is the pro labeling initiative raised 11 million. How did that compare to the old "spending records? Did you know the organic industry exempted themselves in that proposal on lableing. Do you know hardly any (manybe none) post any results of testing they do to declare their products as organic ?
I like organic, prefer it to corporate food....just get really dissappointed how disengenious people can be. Did you know the gap stores are a bigger corporation than monsanto ? I think the gap is evis...especially baby gap.
interesting post....sounds like you have data.
where is the link about the voting...who voted ? Never mind....I figure you don't really check...I chases it down..."natural news" sponsored the link...apprently it beat McD's out of the top spot :) "
(NaturalNews) After taking nominations for the Most Evil Corporation of the Year survey from our readers, we hosted an online survey that allowed readers to vote on this question. Over 16,000 readers voted in our online survey from January 5 through 9, 2011.
Astonishingly, fifty-one percent of all votes went to Monsanto as the Most Evil Corporation of the year. This means Monsanto wins the top prize by a huge margin"
What was the previous spending record....and can you post how much the the pro labeling folks raised during the effort. I was a bit surprised by the money they got....is there self interests OK, and others not ok...any other groups who you don't think should be able to raise money for their health, financial, or other interests ?
I do agree with the intent of your choice of names....one should check all "news' people bias the news. When I check the Argentina item...I"BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) - Argentine union members on Thursday clashed with environmentalists protesting the construction of a plant by U.S.-based seed giant Monsanto.
Local media reported the groups came to blows outside the plant in Cordoba province. Environmentalist Vanina Barboza said that dozens of workers from the Argentine Construction Union attacked the protest camp near the plant, injuring 20 activists and stealing personal objects. accused the environmentalists of destroying workers’ cars.
Construction of the corn-processing plant was halted in October when environmentalists began disrupting entry of supplies. Activists oppose the use of genetically modified crops, which Monsanto produces and Barboza says they’ll continue to block roads and access to the plant." Guess people get pssd off having their jobs impacted.
good post, nice to see a challenge to the blind on both sides. I also think it is a good investment here, and that diversification is a great way to off load market risks. Everything has it's cycles, and since I can't see the future I try and buy some of each.
what kind of post was that ? Sysco is a food middle man....are you saying they focus on poor quality suppliers ? Where do they higer quality suppliers sell...why don't you eat there ?
"just look where a new USFS or Sysco player enters the market they give away stuff to the street playing on the huge backside payments to float the deal" I understand the words....but put together...what do you mean ? look where, at what, what stuff, what backside payments (what is a backside payment).
what you guys mad about ?
if by investors you mean investors, jewerly industry, and PV panel industry (like a few others too).
your peso posts have become jokes...self serving half informations under the heading of data.
I suspect you must work for the gov't or banksters considering your lack of transparency and me first attitude.
other than that..have a nice day.
also google india silver export to get where some of the silver goes (I did the math once since silver exports is given in dollars, not oz, but would not want to influence your math)...they also are in the midst of a big az solar panel production and use binge....that is storage of sorts, and you can likely estimate that number. All going into "storage"...unlikely, imo..if so they must be down quite a bit in it's value.
:) yes, if you made the average wage the from your baseline year, or put your investments in currency and under your mattress, (you used for the 99 % decline statement)....you'd be pretty well scrwed. In you participate in the economy, invest and not put dollars under your mattress, you increase wealth faster than the dollar declines.
simple indeed. Geez guys, do you really only see investing in PM or currency as the only two options ?? really ?
seems like anti gmo'ers are too cheap to fund studies they feel are lacking...understandable.....don't really know what they want, easier to second guess doers than do yourself, and would be compelled to report on outcomes and that may well be the biggest reason.
imo the biggest ponzi of the last 5 years is the constant over use of the word ponzi to describe most anything.
I think I agree. But will add in the long term (multi decade), equities, pm, commodities...all kind of go up at the same rates. I think diversification is the way to go, if long term risk mitigation (aka wealth preservation) is what is wanted. Anyone who thinks they truely know the future may be randomly right, but would still be fooling themselves
I did a quick check on currency conversions...and the US dollar does seem to be getting stronger. Data is what it is...our opinions will vary widely.
that is a realistic opinion. Those that post death and total collapse are just silly.
although I do not agree the buying power of the US dollar has dropped 30 % this year.
his family and friends won't talk to him anymore...what other social interactions are left beside web based ranting ?
based on my decade in CSR and industry issues (light involvement, but more than 99.9 % of people), including social investment funds, my opinion, most such actions would have already occured. I couldn';t get much specifics from you post...which fund are you pointing at, and what is their ownership ?
you rambled quite a bit.
same place positive studies on food including organic are. What is a positive study ?
Paid trolls...you kids crack me up. You think if someone has a difference in opinon they are paid. As you get older, you will get a bit wiser.
really, let me write that down.
just teasing...good luck..I think this is a good buy point. but personally, I intend to remain diversified in investments, not risk concentrated.
Sally, no posting about wipes please. There must be some blog site for wipe folks you could post on.
Is lack of Walmart visiability suppose to be a plus or minus ?
