No, but feel free to do so yourself if you feel it is important.

No, but many of do realize what a complete screw-up Obama is. We see it almost every day now. My, he is good at screwing things up.

You are talking about the local Fox News outlet that was sued in 2003 from an incident where a husband and wife team were hired to do a series in 1996 and made them insert some false information? The reporters were fired but sued for being fired. Bad decision on the part of the local Fox News outlet to do that. It's a good thing the Florida supreme court 11 year old decision ruled that way and said it wasn't illegal to distort the news if it is policy. Can you image the thousands of the law suites against major outlets like MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS (Dan Rather) for all of their distortions?

Sorry didn't make the sentence simple enough fro you to understand. I meant $3 billion will be spent on processing, feeding and supporting all of these illegals that are coming through. If you had been informed you would have recognized that number for what it is. I will try to keep it simple for you in the future so you can keep up.

Not very imaginative are you. You could always turn the channel away from MSNBC to Fox News to get the real facts. But then that would cut MSNBC ratings in half.

  • stvbba stvbba Jun 26, 2014 4:17 PM Flag

The Obama Administrating needs to stop advertising for illegals to come here for free everything at American taxpayer expense. Over $3 billion will be spent this year alone. Then when of course the Administration will let the kids stay and of course we need to reunite these kids with their parent so they are invited in and there you go they have millions of new immigrants that will cause a crisis and force immigration reform aka amnesty and they will be convinced to be good little democrats and vote that way. Great plan until the money runs out. BTW these kids are bringing all kinds of diseases, ones we eradicated years ago. A doctor who just returned from the border reported cases of cholera and other diseases not seen here for along time. Another charming factor in the Obama plan, another unintended consequence from playing bad of America politics.

Bush also kept us from being attacked after 911. If Clinton had done his job in that area we might not have had to spend trillions to stop the terrorists. When Bush left office everyone was afraid of the U.S. and had a healthy respect for us and what we could do to them. After seeing the constant assaults and threats on our interest in the 5 years of Obama do you really think they have the same regards for us today? Not in the last 35 years has this nation been under so many threats and in such constant reaction mode to the many burning fires of anarchy across the world because of our lack of leadership. This nation was once an influential and stabilizing influence because we were considered strong and powerful economically and militarily. Not so today. And it shows if you really care to open your eyes and see.

GOP May Want To Stop Digging Into IRS Emails

    by trueallday Jun 26, 2014 12:23 PM
stvbba stvbba Jun 26, 2014 2:31 PM Flag

Most likely it won't end well for Democrats either.

Congressional investigators have uncovered emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner targeted a sitting Republican senator for a proposed internal audit, a discovery one GOP lawmaker called "shocking."

The emails appear to show Lerner mistakenly received an invitation intended for Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, in 2012.

The event organizer, whose name is not disclosed, apparently offered to pay for Grassley's wife to attend the event, which caught Lerner's attention. The December 2012 emails show that in response, Lerner suggested to an IRS colleague that the case be referred for an audit.

"Looked like they were inappropriately offering to pay for his wife. Perhaps we should refer to Exam?" she wrote.

Her colleague, though, pushed back on the idea, saying an offer to pay for his wife is "not prohibited on its face." There is no indication from the emails that Lerner pursued the issue any further.

Republicans pointed to the exchange as yet another example of Lerner using her position in the Exempt Organizations unit to apply scrutiny to conservatives.

"We have seen a lot of unbelievable things in this investigation, but the fact that Lois Lerner attempted to initiate an apparently baseless IRS examination against a sitting Republican United States Senator is shocking," Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., said in a statement.

"At every turn, Lerner was using the IRS as a tool for political purposes in defiance of taxpayer rights."

What's worse is that 63% of Democrats think the IRS is lying about the missing emails. 90% of Republicans and 74% of independents think they are lying. That is an average of 76% of Americans think the IRS is lying.

74% of voters now say lawmakers should investigate the IRS.

But the U.S. still advances. Good Job for our American players against such great teams.

  • Bill and Hillary are reportedly using tax advantaged strategies used by multimillionaires.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are finding their way around an estate tax they have long supported, a cause they said would prevent the U.S. from being overrun by inherited wealth.
The Clintons are employing a series of financial planning strategies that will help reduce the tax burden on future recipients, which can be as high as 40%, Bloomberg News reported.
The steps are common among multimillionaires and include creating a residence trust, a type of tax advantaged set-up that allows any appreciation in real estate value to build outside of the taxable estate.

    So much for being broke.

    No surprise here.

  • Robert Shiller, Yale professor and Nobel prize winnner, is "definitely concerned" about the outlook for stocks based on the cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings ratio (CAPE) he created. At 26, the so-called Shiller PE is currently well above its long-term average of 17 and approaching levels that previously presaged doom for equities.
Shiller has plotted CAPE going back to 1881 and notes (with some alarm) it has only been higher than current levels three times: In 1929, 2000 and 2007.
"It looks to me like a peak," I would think there are people thinking 'it's gone way up since 2009, it's likely to turn down again.' That's what people might plausibly think."

They must be they are the same lame excuses and diatribes you see from what perhaps 2 or 3 people who are using a dozen aliases to make it seem there is more than two or 3 dimwitted liberals on this board. Where do you find the time? Must be unemployed. or soon will be when your manager see what you have been doing for 8 hours of the work day.

    Trick question.

  • Trey Gowdy, R- South Carolina came down hard on IRS Commissioner John Koskinen at a Monday night hearing on Capitol Hill.

Gowdy showed his chops by educating the commissioner on “spoliation of evidence,” a legal term meaning the jury can draw a negative inference if a party fails to preserve evidence that could be damaging.

“It’s common sense, right?” Gowdy asked.

After a making sure Koskinen had a firm understanding of the concept, Gowdy continued by saying the Internal Revenue Service is not above the law and that this principle applies to the agency the same way it applies to the American people.

Listening and watching the proceedings Gowdy made some telling points on Koskinen's ineptness and the cover-up taking place. He pointed out that Koskinen could not possibly know what if any crimes may have taken place because he had not even read up on any of the laws to make that determination. Unbelievable. And now it has been determined that laws were broken because the IRS did not inform the proper authorities that files were missing. I wonder if Koskinen is willing to go to jail for the Obama Administration.

Bush in his attempt to try and be even-handed with Democrats made the deadly mistake of keeping some Dems in place after he was elected. They later betrayed him as would be expected of a democrat.

If he selected Learner that was another mistake. Obama would not have done his dirty deeds if he knew whoever was in the Learners position would not support him and cover for him. Frankly it is a non-sequitur who selected her for that position.

Was Romney under investigation when he did this? Sounds like a sound and prudent course of action considering that a Democrat was coming into office. We all know ho Democrats love to scandalize on anything they can find. Romney knew this and I bet you a lot of out going governors Democrat and Republican do similar things when they leave office. Just another lame excuse and obfuscation. The IRS is required to keep those records. if you had any intelligence you would know and understand this.
