My post from 21 hrs ago.........
I don't think RVLT will gain anything tomorrow after day trading starts. After hours anything can and will happen. The "spin" was good but when the big boys start trading spin means nothing.
100K traded in afterhours some over $4, !00K traded premarket over $4 . I got 6 thumbs down and one up for that above comment. What I saw was nothing but losses just like it always is and the losses were increasing. Revenues is not their problem, PROFITS are their problem and that causes operating cash flow problems. This company is not a POS, its a good company that needs to make some changes that their CEO doesn't want to make starting with the attention the shareholders should get. He needs to surround himself with the best people that KNOW WHAT HE DOESN'T KNOW, and not try to do everything himselve ! The Company is too big for that now ! Things will get better ! Good Luck !
chill out guys. we're here to share ideas and try to make money
It's OK, just brother and sister stuff ! She's must be a "Leo" Too ! We have different view points and that is a good thing in my book !
Who are you to tell people who can post on a public MB . What got into you this morning you're on everybody's case ! Just because i don't have any shares at this minute does not mean I don't have an interest to buy when the price is right. I also use stocks to learn the market and what makes it move and why. You are WAY out of line and by putting people on Ignore is acting like a child. Fact is you are afraid to hear the other side of an issue. You only learn from BOTH SIDES of an issue and you can bet I will NEVER put anybody that's civil on ignore. I hope your day gets better !
Thr mgmt. of RVLT never has a Conference Call. The most important part of the CC is the Q&A when the analysts ask the hard questions. RVLT mgmt doesn't seem to want to make the effort of answering those questions or maybe the shareholders are not worth it since they don't even post the earnings date on their site. Mgmt. just takes the easy way out, just throw the shareholders a bone in the form of an "UPDATE". If the 4Q doesn't need a CC the ANNUAL REPORT should require it. This stock had an Acquisition agreement, 4Q, and Annual 10K and not one CC. The PPS is on track to finish LOWER than the open on Monday! Just wait untill Seeking Alpha and Mot. Fool post their hit piece sometime today.
"Although we have realized revenues of approximately $26.1 million during the year ended December 31, 2013, we face challenges in order to achieve profitability, and there can be no assurance that we will achieve or sustain positive cash flows from operations or profitability. Our ability to meet our obligations in the ordinary course of business is dependent upon our ability to establish profitable operations or raise additional capital through public or private debt or equity financing, or other sources of financing to fund operations, as well as support of our controlling stockholder. There can be no assurance such financing will be available on terms acceptable to us or that any financing transaction will not be dilutive to our current stockholders.
In addition, to accelerate the growth of our operations in response to new market opportunities or to acquire other technologies or businesses, we may need to raise additional capital. Additional capital may come from several sources, including the incurrence of indebtedness or the issuance of additional common stock, preferred stock, debt (whether convertible or not) or other securities. Increased indebtedness could negatively affect our liquidity and operating flexibility. The issuance of any additional securities could, among other things, result in substantial dilution of the percentage ownership of our stockholders at the time of issuance, result in substantial dilution of our earnings per share, and adversely affect the prevailing market price for our common stock. In addition, we may not be able to obtain additional financing on terms favorable to us, if at all. If additional funds become necessary and are not available on terms favorable to us, or at all, we may be unable to expand our business or pursue an acquisition and our business, results of operations and financial condition may be materially adversely affected"
I give them credit for being upfront about it.
This isn't a PLUG, we're making money and look what that stock is doing.
Where are you making money, everything is a loss !
Too bad you are not in! sounds like you might be "short".
I have been trading for a long time and I have never "shorted" a stock. I'am always looking to add or make things go up not down. I learn to invest by knowing the postive but know the negatives better and never get emotional just the cold hard FACTS. There are alot of people that don't want to hear the other side and will result to name calling. That is my number one rule, never insult people, those that do, lose.
Back to RVLT I think they have problems with profits but with the right people that can be fixed with the revenue they get. I think RVLT is an OK stock and OESX is a good stock at this point in time but in the "Future" they can both be great stocks in a great business field. I'am almost sure RVLT will pull-back tomorrow and I'll pick up a few shares.
I have always said RVLT problem is not Revenue it's Earnings, they never have any. I've posted before that year to year Revenue would look good because of the mergers during the last half of the year and comparing 4Q's Rev. was up 610% and for the year it was up 480% because the merger didn't effect the first half of 2013. Net loss in the 4 Q's for 2012 was (1.4M) and it more than doubled in 2013 to (3.3M). Net loss for the year in 2012 was (8.6M) and for 2013 was (16.8M) almost double. Loss per share was (0.05) for 2013 greater than the ( 0.04) in 2012.
Bottom line that was not a good report but their were somethings that they can build on to get those profits ! I don't think RVLT will gain anything tomorrow after day trading starts. After hours anything can and will happen. The "spin" was good but when the big boys start trading spin means nothing. If we do get a pull-back I would get back in. Good Luck !
white droppings have ceased. Expanding search area lol
Wing sensors show he is still flying but he's below the radar, too low !
That would explain everything!
Report correction 1600hrs not 0400hrs. Pigeon still missing but white droppings have been spotted.
---Sorry to see you go
I'll be back, just that today I was going after HILL and I needed some dry powder. I agree OESX is not a "super" stock but give them credit they were green today. The fact that you like RVLT over OESX and I go the other way is interesting. Let's see who comes out on top ! I respect your knowledge so it would mean something to me to win this bet.
Watching the Bookviewer for the next 30 quotes, Not much resistance - could go up more today
chuck, the volume is less than the aveage 3 month volume with less than 55min to the close. Nobody has any idea or leaks. I don't think it will be a good report but the PPS may do anything at first but what will it settle down to tomorrow is what counts. I just see too many red flags the main one being a complete lack of concern that people know when the report would be out and no excitement at all to make sure EVERYBODY KNOWS when the good news is coming out . They didn't show any PRIDE in what is about to happen. I was going to stay in but the market downturn put me in a position were I couldn't afford the loss and turned my attention to other great stocks that were a bargain today. If RVLT shows me a profit, I will get back in even at a higher PPS. Good Luck Longs !

Just want to remind you guys every city in the USA is looking to have LED lights in the next 20 years. I post Cleveland's LED testing a few days ago but just google any "city LED Street Lights", I never did my own city till now and here is what I got..........
Mr. Peduto said Mr. Grah is looking for a local partner to help in creating a North American company and in building an assembly and eventual manufacturing plant.
The Slovenian entrepreneur has narrowed his list to a handful of cities, including Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Denver. Mr. Peduto said Millcraft's involvement could give the Steel City an edge because of its background in steel and its connections in European business markets.
"Knowing both men, I think there's a really good opportunity for them to get together," Mr. Peduto said.
He stressed the city is committed to landing Mr. Grah's North American headquarters this year, adding that he wants Pittsburgh to be the first major city in the United States to have all LED street lights.
"I have to feel -- with having a partner like Jack Piatt and Millcraft Industries and the commitment of the city government to see this through -- that we have to be considered at the front of a pack now," the mayor said.
Mr. Peduto sees the plant as a part of his goal to bring a new era of manufacturing in Pittsburgh, one built on "the foundation of technology and sustainability."
"Landing this company to Pittsburgh would help to build other opportunities as we look not just around Western Pennsylvania but around the world to make Pittsburgh a manufacturing global leader again," he said.
The North American operation, he said, would start with a small staff charged with assembling parts manufactured in Europe "with the understanding and the commitment that Pittsburgh would become the manufacturing location in the future."
He expects the majority of the street lights in the United States to be converted to LED over the next two decades.
