    After Hours

    by rericksen Nov 12, 2014 4:47 PM

.Anyone know what kind of after hours volume we are getting??

First, after hours and pre-market mean very little unless it's super high volume and in this case it's very low volume 42,181 very small trades. I wouldn't read anything into after-market trades which have been down for the most part.

  • Zacks still has this as a #2 BUY but there has been a lot of selling for whatever reason so there is no buy on the rumor. Things seem to be setting up for a upside surprise. If they don't hit a HOMERUN tomorrow I'am sure a lot of games will be played with the PPS so tomorrow may not show the true value of HIMX if shorts can run it down to cover. Good Luck to the LONGS !

  • The download in my Zacks account shows an alert and an upgrade of PLNR to #1 Strong Buy !
I think there are some games being played by the "shorts" to keep the PPS down when the true value is Strong Buy.

  • There comes a time when the soaring PPS will hit the "fair value" mark at which time a stock becomes a "hold" . Hold doesn't mean "Sell" !

And to think ZACKS had this listed as a #2 buy.

    Earnings good or not good?

Hard to understand if they were positive or not.

What's so hard to understand, the earnings suck and the PPS loss over 8%.

  • This has been going on for years, Company claims great revenue growth but as always no earnings, always a net loss and their are posters here like obama that still don't get it even with the FACTS !

I think it is time for YOU to start believing the CEO and stop trying to scare shareholders with constant threats of a stock offering that never happens

The Job of a CEO of any company even one in BK is to spin a positive outlook with words like , we plan, our outlook, we project, we are focused ect. I don't believe anything the CEO said as gospel truth until it is a RECORDED FACT and did happen as he said it would. SHOW ME FIRST !
As to your claim that I scare shareholders I don't, I just tell it like is both positive and negative unlike you who just plays the part of a cheerleader. I'am overall positive on this stock, it's my biggest investment of the 22 stocks I hold. Glad we look at stocks a different way and everybody should do what works for them. Good Luck !

I don't love the idea of debt, but not in a position to micro manage.

Most of the debt is on you and your shares as the new stock is offered and mgmt. collects the new capitial. The stock close down the last 3 days and the sooner the talk of an acquisition is over the better. If they do merge the hit on our stock will be short term as new stock is done being sold we should see an uptrend but just not knowing when that will take place is going to hurt the PPS. No stock that I know of ever went up during a stock offering.

    The BIG question

    by crambkk Nov 7, 2014 4:20 PM

The law says that low-income Americans people who buy insurance through state exchanges qualify for a federal subsidy. But it is ambiguous about whether subsides are available for insurance purchased through the federal exchange.

An estimated 5 million Americans have insurance that way. The average premium is $80 per month and would jump to $345 per month without the subsidy.

The Obama administration says that the law, read as a whole, clearly provides for the subsidies on the federal exchange. Two federal appeals courts have reached opposing decisions on the matter.

Opponents of the law brought the challenge that the Supreme Court agreed on Friday to hear. The case will be heard this term and decided by the end of June.

The White House dismissed the challenge as a partisan attempt to undermine the law.

    That's call panic.

What panic ? There is nothing to panic about. Still a ZACKS #1 Strong Buy and a Buy or Strong buy at TD Ameritrade analysts. Really not worried about RDNT.

    Great information !

SuperCom has $6 million in cash and a shelf prospectus for raising up to $50 million. "At the moment, we don’t need to raise money, because our cash flow is good," Trabelsi says. "If we acquire this company, we'll almost certainly finance the deal with cash and by taking debt for a limited period."

"Globes": Is the company you are planning to acquire better known than SuperCom? How is it that you are the ones making the acquisition?

Trabelsi: "The OTI division also sold more than we did. There are considerations involving the shareholders, and the question is not who is making the acquisition, but only whether the acquisition is logical."

"Considerations involving shareholders". What shareholders, the acquired company or spcb shareholders ?

    Zagg - Let's get real

I did however take this opportunity to buy under $5 again, because I know I'm confident It will bounce back to 5.5 - 6 range easily.

Well ZACKS still rates it a strong SELL today. I paid for my Zacks account for many years and they are not right all the time just most of the time and they see no value in ZAGG at this time. I hold PLNR base on a ZACKS #1 strong buy and they were up over 88% interday yesterday and today ZACKS downgraded them to a #3 hold because they are at fair value today. The fact that they still rate ZAGG a Strong sell means they don't think it's undervalued today even with the 25% haircut in the PPS. Good Luck !

The next 2 qtrs will be strong, and I expect Zagg to finish the year very strong. Less

Then they will do it without me. As soon as the loss is something I can accept I'am gone never to return to this company. I just don't trust them !

  • superbowl6wins superbowl6wins Nov 6, 2014 12:51 PM Flag

i think they threw in the kitchen sink on the last conference call.

And THAT"S THE POINT ! They knew they were going to do it so they could act in their interest knowing what the result would do to the PPS, to H..... with the shareholders, they lose so what !!!!!!!!!

  • I own twice as much of PLNR and they are up 80%
    Win some, lose some !

  • They didn't even go to 4 sell. Seems ZAGG is a REAL DOG ! It's their MGMT. that should be in the dog house ! Makes you wonder what their REAL JOBS are !

Next time I'll let you know how I REALLY FEEL about ZAGG ! It's only a matter of time for the coming lawsuit.

Zacks is highly unreliable, I don't get the impression they actually do any real research. As the other commenter said, sometimes what they spout is nonsense.

Then why do you pay for their service, and if you don't have their service, to know NOTHING about ZACKS ! Worth every dollar.

  • All day not one action or statement to their shareholders after a 28% haircut. Let them rot in court !
