Next month they have a once a year "Electronic Waste" day where they can pick up free, printers, faxes, copiers, kitchen app. things they will not pickup with normal trash because of some law Obama passed. It's all free EXCEPT for fluorescent bulbs and CFL's which will be charged $1 per bulb ! You got to be kidding if you think people don't just throw them out in the trash during the year or they are going to pay to throw them out after all government stopped allowing the safe old light bulbs we used and since they cause the problem getting rid of the CFL's is their problem and unless they PAY PEOPLE to bring them in it they will just throw them out in the normal trash. Once again gov. screws things up, they think we are all swimming in money like they are. LED'S are the future but RVLT is not the company to deliver that Future. They had their chance, this is not a new field anymore they should be going great guns by now.

    Secondary offering , Nothing New..........

I am not sure about the 100 -200 range as part of the glut is a fundamental shift in demand.

With all the cutbacks they will overshoot for sure and we will be caught short. People are going on vacation soon, buying bigger SUV'S, Boats, Trucks, even Lawnmowers, OK maybe not Lawnmowers. There is nothing that can take the place of Oil at the current price or future price $100 ! These oil stocks are as close to a sure thing as it gets we just don't know when it will happen but it will happen. I'am keeping a small core of oil stocks because I don't know the bottom and I need to be able to handle the lost's today to get the huge gains tomorrow.

    Question about seconday?

    by mattydog5 Mar 10, 2015 7:14 PM
    superbowl6wins superbowl6wins Mar 10, 2015 8:56 PM Flag

i do not think I ever bought a secondary or just do not remember. If it is priced at 6.55 and the PPS is about 40 cents less who is going to buy it?

Nobody is going to buy it. Why buy NEW SHARES for more than the public shares are selling for.
I not an expert on secondary offerings but I know a little bit about EVERYTHING. Most, but not all secondary's are closed to the public. They are handled by an "underwriter" in this case J P Morgan and the stock is sold to the top clients of brokers, funds, ect. at a DISCOUNT price lower than the market but not too low to #$%$ off the current shareholders. The stock is worked by market makers to hold the PPS up while they unload the new shares. Sometimes they force the new share holder not to sell the new stock until a certain period, lockup, has passed. Many times after the offering is closed the PPS will fall for a day or two then go flat or up so don't be surprised if I drops after the offering. Good Luck !

I think we all can read. Your an overblown bag of win pipes. If you do not like the stock or think it is not a good investment, why are you on this board?

Why are your post always about another poster instead of the subject RAD? You need help.

Everything must go perfect for them. One slip and this stock will crash.

Ratings could be lowered if Rite Aid experiences a decline in earnings (whether due to operating pressures at its Rite Aid pharmacies or at Envision post acquisition), makes any further acquisitions, or increases debt such that debt to EBITDA is likely to remain above 7.0 times and EBITA to interest expense is likely to remain below 1.25 times . Ratings could also be downgraded should free cash flow become persistently negative.

hey sup, the deal is,can certain co's survive, waiting for oil to come back? thats the question.

That's part of it ! As more companies are forced into BK that less Oil that goes to market raising the price. Of all my Oil stocks this one is the weakest but I think they will make it. To see what I mean check out the Balance Sheet and compare the CURRENT assets, not the total assets, to the CURRENT liabilities, not the total liabilities, and you will see a shortage. That is why we are having this offering party.
I don't think this Oil oversupply is going to last long and when the first time we drop in inventory LOOK OUT !
Oil always goes up faster than it goes down and Summer driving is around the corner. It will be higher for Summer.

    Delaying the inevitable...

Here what is " inevitable" !
It's inevitable that if you continue to shut down RIGS and you STOP DRILLING, sooner or maybe later the SUPPLY OF OIL WILL NOT MEET THE DEMAND AND THE PRICE GOES UP! We still to this day have no replacement for OIL given the price. Even at $100 per barrel, take away all the high taxes and Oil is cheap and cheaper by far all the other energy sources. Oil stocks will recover and may end up at $200 per barrel.

  • That will solve ALL YOUR PROBLEMS !
Are we hurting your feelings or is it you can't stand the truth. Don't let the FACTS get in the way!
From now on everybody post ONLY WHAT pmkhoop wants to hear or with the power he holds he will put you on ignore.
Now on to RAD. I think the panic over the PPS is a little overdone. I don't think RAD is going down the toilet anytime soon but I also don't think it is going to the moon either. RAD should stay flat in the short term which leads me to my point do you want to hold a stock that not making money for you. Ask yourself what does RAD have that you can't get cheaper somewhere else ? Good Luck !

10 of 35 Reasons for RAD to DOUBLE :

    5) Excellent locations

I can walk to 2 Riteaids, (one was an Eckerd ), Walgreen, CVS, which divides the business by a third or fourth.. These stores are always grouped together but NEVER within 2000 ft of a Walmart !
Another benefit you didn't list, easy parking since the store is empty.
All the stores except for the old Eckerd, are brand new, which is funny because the old Eckerd has the most people in it.

The problem with RVLT has never been Revenues it's always been NET LOSS and nothing has changed. They try to hide it with smoke and mirrors but until they can show a NET PROFIT after all the expenses, taxes, ect. then they will always be a penny stock. Don't look for anything to change after earnings release.

  • If you hold a lot of Oil stocks you should be use to this, seems they all have gone to the well, a little less than 20% dilution is on the low side and it seems if it's for an Oil company then it goes down as if it's expected.
Some stocks after starting down end up higher in the green.
Bottom line, Oil always finds a way to go higher and it's something we all use from plastics to fuel. We will be back to $100 !

  • superbowl6wins by superbowl6wins Mar 9, 2015 8:21 AM Flag

Last year Revenue was 18M. this year 57M. So we had some growing pains, things will go up from here.

Its not just Obama this country has got way to soft ! I'am 68 and when I was a kid and it snowed up to 2-3 feet they didn't call off school in New York you walked in the street or wait until a car stopped at a stop sign then duck down lower than the trunk and grab a bumper and ski on your boots to school. If you live less than 2 miles from school you WALKED. If you were bad at school you got a paddle sometimes with holes drilled thru it or the steel edge of a ruler across the back of your hand or made to kneel on uncooked corn kennels. We went to school to 1600hrs today the kids are out at 1400hrs. because the teachers don't want to teach. After high school 5 days after I turn 17 my old man dropped me off at the Federal building and I was in the Air Force, been on my own ever since. Air Force paid 100% of my Penn State education and I worked part time for US Steel with Fex hours of my choice just so they could keep me.
Bottom line this is a great country but you have to work for it. NO HANDOUTS ! Obama wants to change all that !

The yellow brick road to CVS pharmacy counters

    by emt8601 Mar 7, 2015 11:10 PM

But, half of the cvs stores that I've been to recently have had a filthy vinyl tile path to the pharmacy counter.

Why are you even going to all of these CVS stores to spend your money there if you want RAD to do well. If you're not spending you money at CVS is that what you do in your spare time, just checking out CVS, or is the REAL REASON THE GIRLS ARE BETTER LOOKING AT CVS ! Now that I can except.

  • I found some more articles and it's two different companies that started by the same people and one is CyActive and of coarse CyberArk. Seems some people left CyberArk to start CyActive which is the one that will merge with PenPal. I knew the numbers made no sense. That's my best take I may be wrong.

  • superbowl6wins by superbowl6wins Mar 8, 2015 1:01 PM Flag

Either I'am missing something or current shareholder are really going to take a hit. Total share outstanding is almost 30 M.
TEL AVIV (Reuters) - Online payments company PayPal, a unit of eBay , will buy Israeli cyber security company CyActive for $60 million, Israeli media reported.

The Globes financial newspaper said the deal is expected to close shortly.

A spokeswoman for CyActive, which was founded in 2013, declined to comment on the reports.

CyActive, which says it can forecast future cyber attacks and offer companies such as utilities detection and prevention, received a strategic investment from the venture capital unit of Siemens in September. Financial details were not disclosed.

Siemens joined Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), an Israeli venture capital firm, in investing in CyActive. JVP was the main shareholder in another cyber security company, CyberArk Software , which went public on Nasdaq in September.

This would be PayPal's second acquisition in Israel, after it bought FraudSciences, which monitors financial fraud, in 2008 for $169 million.

It was to Caseyboy, look up at my reply to his statement was 6 hours ago, I just don't understand why you guys are hating so much

I'am not "hating" at all. I'am not the one insulting people with name calling , telling people to leave the M.B., telling others that don't agree with them to put them on ignore. Show me one post where I did that. I don't do that and the other posters that are always attacked like, "casey" doesn't either,( maybe a little name calling but he's seems like a good person) it's always your side that THINKS insults and hate make them look like a big man when in fact it makes them weak and small.
Two things to think about, like it or not "shorts" are better investor because they have to be. They don't trade on greed or emotion. Second the BEST INVESTOR's listen to BOTH sides of an issue and then decide if it's just smoke and mirrors or something to consider. The ONLY REASON to put anybody on ignore is they are not civil or insult people with name calling because they have no argument.
As far as RAD and that acticle showing an increase in "net earnings", that is true but it's mostly smoke and mirrors and here is why. If you check the Revenue income from several years back it is mostly flat, two years ago it was higher than today. Revenue income is the base they start with to figure out all the other numbers. If you're not growing Revenue, then you are not growing, the rest is just spinning the numbers to make things look good.
