Can't argue that, brotha. Maybe we'll get a lucky dead cat bounce and a chance to escape purgatory. I dropped my cost to $23 so stranger things have happened by mr. markets hand... GL
Hey Mike, you've definitely been right on this one, although much of the time you portrayed being a bag holding long like many of us. What is your position now? Figure you're short--good for you thus far. If the case, do you plan on covering soon or just think it's going to zero? I'd say be careful -- case in point KBIO -- was .44 last Monday and hit $45 today! Market can crush your soul in an instant...
Mr cap when did you sell out and go short? Reviewing your old messages and see you were die hard long and prob scorn by losing ton of $. Hopefully you made some back shorting it, but at least give us full disclosure rather than ominous one liners. Keep it real, homie!
Anyone know when options will become available? I'd like to lower my cost by selling covered calls on e I lower my avg.--burning the candle at both ends is best bet for b/e here imo
Hence why I think it's a good opportunity right now. I'm avg. down a little at a time and have already cut my avg.to 1/3 (currently $27). I'll continue to add to lower cost and look for activist or huge reversal to escape at break even. If not, it's the price I pay for gambling. GL to all, we certainly need it...
So now did he by it back much cheaper? Here's excerpt from 2013 article I found.
Soros also boosted his investment in Phoenix-based Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE: FCX) by 5 percent to 1.4 million shares worth $46.6 million and his stake in Pioneer Natural Resources Co. (NYSE: PXD) by 49.5 percent to 2.09 million shares worth $222.6 million.
Still, the manager sold off his $7.1 million stake in Hercules Offshore Inc. (NYSE: HERO), his $18.8 million investment in Range Resources Corp. (NYSE: RRC) and his $34.8 million position in Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE: SWN).
Also, they do not have a price now but let's say HERO is $50 next year, will warrants start to be priced and can I sell them before 2021 if they do? Essentially, like an option I own at $70 strike...
my accounts now show 2500 warrants. Haven't had warrants before. My understanding is these are granted to us now and good until 2021 when HERO must trade at $70, or $1.5B Market cap. Questions: 1) do I lose these if I sell all my common stock? 2) hypothetically let's say HERO is $100 in 2019. Do I gain $30 per warrant and pay $70 per in order to cash out at $100 per warrant? Or, are these granted for free and if its $100 I am sitting on $250k cash? Thanks very much in advance! G
Okay, so 20M of the 160M authorized are issued and our 1000 reduced to 3 shares based on only 20M shares float. Aren't we entitled to 3.1% of total new company, hence, when they release more shares we are entitled to 3.1%? This is very confusing. Did they release the 20M as a canary in the coal mine knowing it would dive? How can they issue now that it's dropped $10/share since reissuing? Seems like major price disconnect but keeps on dropping. Admit I added a couple hundred today at $4.90 and lowered cost to $34. I'm utterly confused about the 140M shares not registered in float. How can they not give us more shares at 3.1% rate once they're issued? Someone with a better understanding than myself please explain it in simple terms. Who owns the other 140M shares? when are they available? TIA
Now I'm rooting for a dip to $6 so I can buy 3x and bring my cost way down so I can lock it up in the basement a few years. If debt holders gave up 1.2B for 200M and put 450M more to work they must know more than I. My average cost is $57 now so a 3x buy at $6 will bring my cost down and within reach. Come on shorts, do your thang!
if it's 1 for 37 at $14 ish it closed today That would put me in the black, so I'll believe it when I see it.
I bought as low as .35 and high as .60 (just before earnings), but my avg. is .40. Let me know when you're willing to do .40 and we can make arrangements here. I intend to calendar my way to a free roll so even if I'm wrong I should be okay. Gatr, you were a hard core bull, what happened? Yes, sector took a $&;/ but they did the offering at 6.25, hedging well, moving to liquids, insiders buying, and selling props to clean balance sheet. Can't fault them for price of oil and gas, only actions they've taken, which seem pretty brilliant imo.
What does Cinco stack refer to? TIA
PS - I've been accrued 200 Jan '17 2.50 leaps to accompany my 10k shares. Will add shares on any sig dip.
Been languishing since presentation made. What do you all expect for earnings? I like it down here as I feel they will get to 2018 safely, unlike many peers, and that by then the industry will stabilize a bit so they'll be well positioned. In the near term, you think it retraces to $1.25 level? Tired of adding early but feel I should use powder prior to earnings. I know many are scarred and inactive on this board now but would greatly appreciate insights from this who have been here a while. I will return favor when time comes as to when to protect post option with options, which is my specialty. Tia gregg
