    OT10 - PWE

Interesting that you mention NG while I mention on oil. My understanding is that PWE is focusing on their light oil plays and actively selling (or trying to sell!) their non-core NG assets. Obviously, rising natural gas prices would help the bottom line, but in my opinion you have to be comfortable that oil prices will remain steady or increase to confidently hold PWE. Just my two cents for anyone who might be looking to start a position.

    Best of luck.

I own a nice chunk of PWE - albeit at a higher PPS than current. I think it's a great value here. New leadership seems to be moving the company in the right direction in terms of decreasing debt and operating costs. Should be a good story over the next 18-24 months assuming oil prices remain roughly where they are now.

I stopped checking this message board 6 months ago but it was dead except for the occasional spammer. Decided to check it again on a whim (and the sell off today) and what do you's turned into a fantastic place to share ideas! Really enjoying the conversation, keep it coming. I focus mainly on Canadian junior oil stocks and may share an idea from time to time...but given the sector's performance over the past 18 months you may be better off without them! For what it's worth, I think Long Run is a very solidly managed company with good acreage and fundamentals. Not sure what is driving the sell off today...might be delayed reaction to the selling halt due to the Crew Energy acquisition. Haven't seen the fundamentals of the deal yet but if you believe NG is going to rebound, then Long Run should benefit in the long run...I always get a kick out of saying that. Good luck all!
