You can go to their website and see that info. I didn't spend much time there but will return... A quick look and I saw that they were at 5% a couple quarters ago but were at around 8% before that... so looks like they mayhave sold at 8+ and got back in past quarters. Sounds similar to Goldman Sachs who now has Nokia very high on their buy list. Remember Blackrock has 2 trillion in assets so not one of their major holdings.. But 7% of a stock is saying something.
I calculate 0.75% which on 7.31 is .05 or 5 cents which is exactly what the stock is down now. -- It goes up and down more than that on any given day.. Let's talk where the stock will be a year from now, that's more important to me, I am not a day trader.
osmosisjosh brought up Bell Labs a few hours ago...
I am wondering if anyone knows about their current budget etc for research. There was a point in time that Bell Labs was the #1 lab in the US.. Many don't know this labs has "8 Nobel prizes"!!! We are talking laser, transistor, radio astronomy ---They have more Nobel prizes than either IBM or GE labs. I am sure they must still have great talent. I don't know the politics but I have a feeling they were not properly funded under Lucent and then Alcatel. If Nokia gives out some $$ and good management we can expect some nice things especially since Finland also has some good people. Nokia is into good research so I think Bell Labs will prosper in the future with the Finns... too bad Nokia already let go of some good talent.
Hey osmosis Man -- I think white will take the game. Ok
