It is a shame what is happening to this country. It started with Barney Frank's "house for everyone" to create the financial crisis. Bush's biggest mistake - TARP. Obama continuing the Bush mistakes and doubling down, spending like mad. It is truly sad what our kids, and us, will be left with. My crystal ball says buy things - Real things like property that has intrinsic value. Money and stocks will soon be worthless!! Just watch.
What positions of the TEA party do you disagree with? I do not know much about them except that they want lower taxes. Many people seem to really HATE the tea bags... just curious what they are pushing that is generating the hate??
Just talking in facts not talking points like you are. 1.3 trillion - .7 trillion (TARP) is a 600 billion deficit. The government lumps loans in as spending. BAC calls a loan an asset. Look up the deficit breakdown of Bush compared to Obama and that will help you understand.
Looks like a very bad day for us. JPM results were not good except for Investment Banking. This will be a bad day for BAC. I may pick up more shares if we drop below 12.
You are probably right. I bought at the top today and it will probably drop tomorrow. The market is on fire and BAC is stuck. I don't get it.
For 8 years, Bush ran deficits under 500 Billion. You are not being truthful about a 1.3 Trillion in his last year. 700 Billion was TARP that has been almost fully repaid by companies like BAC. Obama has ran 1 Trillion plus deficits every year that do not include "loans" that have to be repaid. Education is a great thing. You should try it.
Stark, it is no use trying to debate those who support Obama. Trust me, I used to be one of them I am embarrassed to say. My first opportunity to vote was for Reagan and I am proud of that one. I think Bush Sr, Clinton, and Bush Jr had the best interest of the country at heart. Obama, on the other hand, is either stupid or out to destroy this country. I am very fearful where we will end up when this POTUS is done.
I have a small position and today's BAC action bothers me. Very weak for a new Dow high. I will probably add more going into earnings if we stay below $13 but I am a little nervous.
Bush bailout was stupid and then Obama doubled down. Pure insanity that we will all pay for in the years to come.
Good points. How hard do you think it will hit BAC? I don't think our exposure in Europe and Asia is significant. I could be wrong though.
I agree. They are trying to take shares from the little guys. Not this little guy. I'm buying on the dips.
