Drugs covered through Part B vs Part D

Thanks for the info. I'll contact my elected officials to give them my opinion on this matter. Lapland! This is medieval technology by now. Congress is so slow catching up with times.

  • If Belviq will be covered, it only be available through Part D. Part B is only for drugs administered in a doctor's setting on an outpatient facility. These include drugs administered through infusion or injectable means, and some drugs to control diabetes that are used together with a infusion device. Belviq will only be available through insurance companies that have a contract with CMS to sell Part D plans. If it is true that government employees are eligible to get Belviq, for damn sure CMS should allow it to be covered under one of the tiers allowed in Part D.

ARNA is stuck between $6 - $7 range until April

Stock prices can be just as much as a predictor of events to unfold 6 - 9 months from now, as well as a hidden gem until the market really wraps its head around its potential. It's always above or below its fair value. Big money managers, like Blackrock, seem to "get it." My bet is that it would it rise above fair value, whatever that may be. Now, how does one establish FMV? I have no pretentions to establish that, but my bet is that the broader market has no idea about ARNA's true potential. But I can't wager a timeline for PPS over the next 3 months.

  • In my watch list of 7 bio-techs, ARNA is down 3.47% and all others are down much more. Today's ARNA change is insignificant giving today's sector performance.
