I would see a doctor about that double and triple vision problem you are having after that fall. It could be serious.

I would be surprised if Obama has not played Augusta at least once. All presidents who played golf which is most of them have played there with Ike being the most notable. Ike played there dozens of times in the 50s when he was president. He even had a tree named for him on the 17th hole. They named it the Eisenhower tree. It was a loblolly pine that hung over the left side of the 17th fairway. To hit the fairway a right hander would have to either hit the ball straight or with a draw and Ike could only hit a slice. He would always hit the tree and the most powerful man in the world at the time told them he wanted the tree removed. That's where his power ended. The tree stayed. In February of this year the tree was badly damaged by a storm and had to be removed. I imagine Ike was smiling from his grave.

What illegals flooding in? I thought Rick Perrys National Guard stopped that.

  • His birthday is tomorrow, August 18.

Congratulations to Rory. Another great performance, won the last two majors and the last three tournaments against the greatest golfers in the world. He didn't win it as easy as I thought he would but showed what he's made of. Wasn't playing up to his standards until the 13th when he knew he needed to turn it on. Was behind by two shots at that point and he turned into a different player when he knew he had to. What a tremendous talent and a tremendous person at the same time. Can't wait for April to get here and see if he can win the career grand slam. He now has four majors and if he stays healthy and motivated, who knows how many majors he can win. I fully expect him, baring injury, to surpass Tiger Woods in majors and most likely Jack Nicklaus. What's even more impressive is that golfers have become much fitter and there are a lot more top notch golfers than seven to fifteen years ago when Tiger was winning all his. Personally, I've never seen a better golfer, ever.

I didn't mention that Tiger Woods missed the cut. He started doing his I'm hurt acting job but played it out. I was looking for him to withdraw when it became apparent that he wouldn't make the cut which was about the eighth hole of his round. The announcer did mention that if he withdrew again, the wrath would come down on him. I guess most everyone knows that most of the show he puts on when playing bad is just an act and nobody knows it better than the people out there playing with him. It was a terrible act last week at the Bridgestone when he withdrew. He started his act on the course and withdrew and when he got to the parking lot and the camera's were all on him, he acted like he couldn't even stand and it was an obvious act. Then he said he felt great this week until his play was poor and suddenly when it was obvious he wouldn't make the cut, he started acting injured again. I have no respect for someone like that. Just admit your game is not very good and move on.

Rory takes a one shot lead into the weekend which was a big feat in itself. Rory drew the late start Thursday and the early start Friday which was the worst weather. The late early group had tougher conditions on Thursday and had to play in the rain most of the day Friday before it cleared up, yet he still sits atop the leaderboard. Rory has a good chance of walking away with this one and winning by a big margin. He is so talented and so locked in right now that I can't see anybody beating him.

As I said, you can change handles all you want but you are nothing but a 100% worthless loser. All of you board gnats are going on ignore. I like opposite views but just posting nothing but garbage is a waste of everyones time.

When will you realize that when you offer nothing of value to the board, you and everyone else would be much better off if you just left and quit bothering people, you bore. It does not matter how many handles you use, it all comes out to be an exercise in nothingness.

People like you are like a gnat that has no use but to bother people. If you can't discuss something logically and post something thoughtful, why do you even post? I would bet that you have never made anything of yourself in life. Am I right?

Just shows you don't understand the fast food industry. Quality does not necessarily mean equal to steak or a fine restaurant. Quality means putting out the best of what you are producing. Years ago McDonalds was all about quality. You could buy a quarter pounder with cheese or fries or anything they served in Florida and it would be the same quality as the same product you would buy in New Mexico, Wyoming, New Hampshire or any state. They were meticulous about their quality and spent a lot of money assuring it. They had a lot of undercover people in the field assuring that quality standards were met and if not managers or franchisees were instructed go get the food up to the quality required. If not, the manager was fired if it was a company owned store or the franchisee had his franchise taken away from by the company and would receive compensation for it. There was nothing they could do about it because it was spelled out in the contract that they could do that if quality standards were not met. Its no longer like that. Quality verys a lot from store to store now. They dropped the ball and it is hurting them. They saw all those dollars they could save by not enforcing the quality standards but it is coming back to bite them.

Its not the consumer, its the company. They took their eye off the ball on quality and offerings and have been going downhill. Others like Jack In The Box have picked up their customers and are doing great. McDonalds management has done a horrible job running the company and the workers have a terrible attitude. People are taking their business elsewhere. Reminds me of Wal-Mart.

  • Its the last major of the year. After seeing where Rory McIlroy's game was in the British Open, I had already chosen him for my PGA pick and my 2015 Masters pick. How could you not love him this week? He is clearly the best that's out there right now and honestly, the way he's playing, I think he is better than Tiger Woods at his peak. He has that great combination of great strength, super accuracy, great putting and emotions that he has learned to control. Add to that now that his confidence level couldn't be higher after winning the British Open and coming back in the WGC Bridgestone Invitational over the weekend and winning it in another tournament that had all the worlds top golfers in the field. It sold me more than ever. I thought he would have a bit of a let down after the British Open and play decently but not win. I think his let down week's are now better than other golfers great weeks. Golf is a fickle game and one's swing can leave at any time but there is no way that I'd bet against him. Someone could give me the entire field against Rory this week and I wouldn't take that bet.

On a side note, Dustin Johnson is out of golf for 6 months after testing positive for the third time to recreational drug use. He tested positive for cocaine. What a great talent being wasted there and word from those on the tour is that he really doesn't care. Sorry to hear that. Also, its not known if Tiger Woods will play in the PGA. He withdrew during play from the Bridgestone yesterday due to what he described as back spasms. He does get injured at times but it also seems he is a pretty good actor when not playing well, coming up with injuries that he puts on display for the camera's. Who knows. Anyway, it really isn't a relevant factor because there was no way, healthy or not, that he was going to contend for the title. Golf has a new king and his name is Rory. Rory also took over the number one ranking in the world after his win yesterday & may be there for many years.
