What difference does it make if Hillary wants your guns because you don't have any guns? Remember when Obama was running for president and all you Dumbo's said Obama is going to take your guns away so I assume you no longer have them. Being stupid about something once is forgivable but being stupid about the same thing over and over is dumb.
hrdwkgdog, I think you should go back and check again. I don't know your age but I checked you zip code and saw that it was in the Tuscon area. I don't know how much age has to do with it but I put in our ages, 60 and 59 as if we lived in your area with your zip code and the 25000 in income you said you had and came up with better prices than you said. You can get a United Health Care Bronze plan for nothing or you can get United Health Care Silver plans for $58 a month or $92 a month or $92 a month or $97 or $102 or $125. Some of them were HMOs but you can get a PPO Silver Plan from United Health Care for $92 a month. You didn't have as many plans to choose from because there's not as much insurance competition in your area but $92 is a lot cheaper than the $350 that you said was the cheapest. You should check again and make sure you put the information in correctly. Hope this helps. Or maybe you have dependents living with you which would change the costs. I just ran it for one man and one woman living in the household.
It has nothing to do with the wealth or redistribution. The cost has nothing to do with the government. The prices come from insurance companies, not from politicians or how much a state or area has. The only thing a state can do is make rules that they insurance companies must follow throughout the entire state. As I said previously, Florida really hurt their people badly when the legislatures let the insurance companies run all over them. I am sure there are other states that hurt their people too but I don't know who they are. I only know about Florida because I have a couple relatives that live there and I found out what happened to them. One is seriously considering moving to another state.
The same people that pay for all the breaks that the very wealthy and companies like Wal-Mart get. Do you think it should be only a one way street with the corps and their wealthy leaders getting all the breaks. What's thrown to the people is crumbs compared to what they get.
I should mention that our policy had a high deductible too but hopefully that won't really make any difference. We're both in good shape with no problems and I hope it stays that way. I only go to the doctor unless I have to and I haven't had to for about twenty years and my wife only goes once a year for a checkup so the deductible means very little to us if we stay in the shape we're in.
Depends on what state you live in I guess. Some states are more favorable to Obamacare and put more restrictions on what an insurance company can charge. I know the laws they made in Florida for example are just a big favor to the insurance companies and hurting the people. Go to the government healthcare site and enter that you're from Illinois and punch in my numbers which is 22000 income for 2016 my age of 60 and my wife is 59 and maybe the part of a state you live in makes a difference too because they ask for your zip code. Mine is 62025. It is costing us nothing. Neither one of us use tobacco either and that makes a difference.
We got a silver plan with Coventry and it will cost us nothing. I've been planning for early retirement since my late thirties after having a talk with my father back then and he was a very wise man. He told me we should start saving toward retirement and how to do it even though we were in a 401K back in those days. We built up stocks in both our 401ks which are now IRAs and we built up a large cash position. My father explained to me how having a lot of cash can save you on taxes when you retire. I followed his advice and am glad I did. Neither one of us had filed for Social Security yet and we won't until we both qualify for Medicare. I have a little more than four years before I quality and my wife has a little more than five years. The whole idea of having a lot of cash is that when taking money out of an IRA it is 100% taxable but if you have cash to meet your living needs you can use your cash to live on and start taking money out tax free from your IRAs to stay under the taxable limit. So we will only have about $22000 in reportable income next year from mainly dividends and interest on our money but with the low rates that isn't too much but we still have the cash to live the life we want. Nobody knew that Obamacare would come along but that has only been a bonus because of our retirement planning. When we do get to the point where we are on Medicare we will get out of all the dividend paying stocks we have now and put them into non dividend growth stocks so we can control our income and how much we want to claim. I have put a lot of thought into the best retirement approach and I am happy with the way it turned out.
We both took early retirement this year and we went on Cobra because we won't be eligible for Medicare for a few years. Decided to go to Obamacare instead of Cobra in 2016. I was waiting for November 15 to sign us up because that was the date you could start signing up last year. Decided to go there and check things out and found out that this year they started taking applications on Nov. 1 for insurance starting on Jan. 1 2016. I didn't look into it last year but I know they had a lot of problems. I'm here to tell you that all those problems are gone. Signing up was the easiest thing you could imagine. The only part that took any time was deciding which plan to go with. There were 40 plans available to us but we wanted a PPO because we wanted to keep our doctors. So that knocked it down to 23 plans. We got lists from our doctors to see which plans they accept and of the 23 plans, both our doctors would accept 19 of them so we had 19 to choose from that were PPO's. We found exactly the type plan we wanted and we are now signed up. I just wanted to let you know so all the horror stories about getting Obamacare coverage that you heard of been taken care of or weren't true in the first place. Really, it couldn't be any easier or faster.
I have Prime but when I order something with no hurry shipping because I don't need it right away, it takes about five days and UPS takes it so far and then they hand it off to the post office and they deliver it. If a Prime member opts for no hurry shipping they give you $1 off on an ebook . The post office where I live does have a person who drives around and delivers packages instead of the regular carrier that used to deliver packages. I guess they were getting too many for the regular carrier to handle.
LOL Who said $63. Some firm trying to get you suckers to buy the shares they're stuck with? It wasn't Wal-Mart. companies do not forecast their stock price. None of them. Not all is lost though. I may send you a turkey dinner next year when you're living in the poor house.
If you had any common sense you would realize that wall street will not pay up for companies moving in a negative direction. Didn't you hear about them slashing numbers for the next several years? Wall street wants companies that are growing.
From the looks of things not many liberals conservatives or independents are shopping at Wal-Mart. This company is falling apart faster than a Wal-Mart shirt.
