Personally, I think we needed a day like this. A little profit taking. Shake out some weak hands. Bounce off an intraday low. Building the support. Ready to push through to new levels. I'll take a day of consolidation for another two quarters plus of solid earnings and a new product or two.
The day is coming when men will not carry wallets. This is not about swiping a card. This is about having everything, your ID, your credit cards, your insurance card, etc., all on your cell phone. You won't need replacement cards mailed to you bc an update will me sent electronically for your phone. If a police officer pulls you over, your insurance card is on your phone. If a bartender cards you, your ID is on your phone. It's about convenience and health for that matter. Sitting on a wallet is bad for your back, just ask a chiropractor. The day is coming where everything will be on your phone.
Best thing is a fresh start. No more debt. More debt is a slow death. Pull the plug. Rip off the bandaid. Start over. Let the healing begin. We will never get out of debt. Default. File bk. New president. New policy on debt. Pay as you go. In my house, if we don't have the money, we don't buy it. Gov should do the same.
Way too much negativity surrounding this stock. They could sell 10,000,000 or 20,000,000 in the first weekend and the analysts and media pundits will still find something negative to say. Amazing how a company can be so hated. It is as if people want the company to fail just because they want it to fail. No matter what they do, no one is happy. Good luck on Monday.
Disclosure: Long shares of AAPL.
Debt is balls? Doing what u believe in and not being influenced by naysayers, now that is balls.
It's buy rumor sell the news in reverse. Sold off in rumor of Samsung phone but the phone was average at best so aapl buyers are back.
He knows what everyone knows, that the stock will explode w second half catalysts. Aapl is not dead. They just had a lull in products that the street is punishing them for. In the same way it could pop 150 before year end. That's a huge return.
