Its nice Yahoo provides an anonymous forum, yet sad some abuse it with crude taunts. Most understand you guys' agenda but do you all really think these tactics are necessary or successful?
No one long on IMSC is forcing others to invest, most just state their position, opinions and research...GLTY Sir...

IMSC put forward the QS220 because TSA wants swab devices because this keeps a 'hard copy' (the swab) for use. The next generation, most likely our Vortex collection system seems to have support from the TSA also now...GLTA...

Boeing said on Wednesday it expects "very strong cash flow" in the final quarter of 2014, and continued growth in 2015,
he said the company sees potential to "revisit and possibly increase" its authorization for share buybacks, which return cash to shareholders.

Certainly no big rush for an exit as Longs are still holding and even basher posts are fewer this AM. Most understand that US gov is a tough market for new spending.
Sure would also like to see other sales to BRICSK countries and with so many crisis in the Middle East we should see orders there too. Although risks still remain, there is a great possibility of huge rewards to Hold or Buy at these levels...GLTA...

This is a Speculative stock and if selling it made a significant difference GLTY. Penny flipper liars with a strange agenda. Didn't you do some DD BEFORE investing? I am down significantly over the last several years and have doubled down because of all the pollution and water issues. Eventually this company may be a winner again...JMHFO...

  • About the 2014 sales or missed IDIQ chances. Management has options if they can produce this sale by the end of the year, I think, so I would guess they are lobbying as well.
Recent Gov management has been more about reducing all 'unneeded' expenses and little about new spending but security will need attention and continued upgrades. My investment here is Long term and I still have confidence this company will succeed...GLTA...

It's all about sponsored shills from the competition. A few bucks a week are made by persistent shorts and after any pps raise when no more news immediately shows up. Longs don't invest this way, they are SPECULATING on long term results...GLTA...

IMSC's main new rival, the IONSCAN6000, will have to pass this while the QS220 already is on the current QPL. All the other retrofits will also need approvals AND need to be available at less than $35K with hugely reduced consumable and service prices.
Will the QS150E have to pass this new testing? It uses the same technologies and components as the QS220, but just uses the Vortex collection method?
TSA, also has to BUY AMERICAN if possible. Unfortunately in the recent past we have not remembered the WW2 adage to make and grow your own Bullets and Beans..GLTA...Having Smiths as the #1 vendor seems wrong to me...GLTA....

Did you see the 'they/we' ? My point is Mirgutless's argument and the righteousness of greed or not. I certainly also will argue about the % of service personnel with rich compared to poor and also the difference in % of those actually serving as combatants. An Infantryman is different then some logistics paper pushert..JMHFO....GLTY Sir...

Smoot, if this person went to school for 20 years he used his share of free rides in taxes and also security our Nation provided. 'Welders' certainly PAID Taxes on strait time AND overtime...GLTY on your judgment too , Sir...

  • tcmoiba tcmoiba Oct 15, 2014 12:01 PM Flag

Mirgutless also thinks that someone else, especially not the wealthiest, should be the ones to support our National Defense, Police, Firefighters and the rest of the public needs. They/we have received a large portion of these Public benefits as can be seen in our Markets and generally stable security...GLTY Sir at your Judgment...
I like your analogies of market morality pmb, so sad it's the truth too.

from the USAspending dot gov web sight under Hazard detecting IMSC is at .05% for just under $2m. Also just below us are Northrope and LMT . Smiths is #1 with 27% of the budget so far.
I would guess that these two defense giants may also notice this and can see room for ETD needs. They would both have open facilities as other defense work slims.
Nice web sight to look at real spending...GLTA...

Good points TD. I see that Smiths now has a copycat swab system, though it will need to pass TSA testing to be on a QPL for US sales.
The QS-150E surely must include a live interface and connectivity which now a days should be an easy upgrade. Maybe the recent software upgrades to the QS220 already includes live interfaces.
I hope IMSC can get some major leaps to TSA approval for the QS150E because of the commonality of components and technologies. As you point out the difference is only collection methods.
Our foreign customers and most applications even the US, would be best served with this newest collection methods IMO... This is where some of IMSC's patents are also most important. Vortex sampling should be a strong issue for future ETDs...GLTA...

Les B also ran GNLB into shareholder oblivion. As investors we can only buy or sell and I have lost my asz with these guys. Don't know if I will be putting more money into this as it goes forward. I also now have a personal interest in cancer research ( I'm doing Intron A for melanoma ) and hoped SNTI's technologies would open new paths. Looks like a definite failure in the Ag side too which was when I first invested.
Pathetic results for such hopeful possibilities and technologies.

MikeD's math was correct as seen by the PPS. He is now predicting less volume will start to possibly raise the pps. Its just his opinion/DD but was accurate so far. Obviously NEWS will change everything. I'll be supporting the pps and NOT fishing for pennies short term and I hope many longs can see the benefits of our continued support.
Only dummies and penny flippers use stops on volatile stocks and these exacerbated the decline, I agree...GLTA...

I think DMJR took some profits. Cant blame them and I am still very happy for their support of IMSC. The info from MikeD on stock trends sounds like a pro from them letting all know where they were going and the delayed contracts allowed this. Shorts and liars/shills took advantage of this, IMO. Volume IS dried up and those that buy now or have to cover will need to get those shares from Longs, most of which are tight fisted. Looks to me like the light volume may allow small buys at the raising ask to start bringing results. We might see some interest from the NIBA folks too at this lower PPS.
Heading for great things over the next few months and I expect my 'support' shares purchased this month will be profitable too very soon again. I would guess that most long time Longs are still very Green...GLTA...
MikeD, what does your Math say?

  • to one of the other bets I have, VTSI. I post this to show that even small companies can receive contracts from the Gov that are 50% of their market cap. IMSC is in line for some huge contracts too, IMHO...GLTA...
