With the opening of so many NG stations by so many different companies, it is my opinion that there will be pressure in Washington to renew the VETC for a maximum of two years to ramp up the transition and for political ramifications in an election year. The Repubs will be walking a very thin rope for the next election. Will all these companies be knocking at the door? Can they afford to be anti NG as a transportation fuel? Can they be anti immigration? Is Keystone the only economical development of interest for this country? How will this abundance of energy be used in the US? Will they give some consideration to environmental issues? Votes, Power, Greed!!
My intuition, a 60/40 in favor of VECT renewal and CLNE gets out of this ##$%$ for the next two years.

If they follow Europe as an example of NG adoption then it's not rocket science . For every 5 cars sold 3 were NG/GPL. Tax incentives were also very popular. I remember driving some of those Bi-fuel on business trips or on vacation and just at the flick of a switch I was able to go an extra100Km with no worry or until there was an NG station. At 1/2 the price!!!!

WPRT needs to come alive with some OEM venture to stimulate the passenger vehicles and I may say at affordable prices. 2-3 K difference from gasoline retail would make a day and night difference.

"hang" in there "soon" "on the verge" .....they...will be cutting executive corporate expenses by $10M, taking notice of WPRT initiative.
I bet that such a simple action would create 100's of millions in shareholders value. Corporate GREED is the cancer that plagues this company.
How many years have they left shareholders "hanging"? Hall of shame!

There is a big market waiting for the mid size everyday delivery truck we see in our streets that is just waiting to get in and yes WPRT can benefit, they have BAF that does conversions. It's done all over the world economical conversions.

Honda is still making this car unaffordable compared to the regular gas car 26.7 vs 18.5. In Europe the difference for a dedicated CNG or bifuel is about a 2K Euros without incentives. So we still have a long way to go for OEM to make it affordable for mass media.

Rubbish politics! If they wanted to approve the extension they would have done it without contingencies. Now the president will most likely veto the Keystone . What gives this county a direct impact on its economy and energy independence, our own drilling and putting our own people to work for a sustainable time or a pipeline from another country? I'm apolitical but let's not forget that the repubs voted down any NG act twice!

He clearly failed to reassure investors that many options are being considered to regain market share and reduce debt. Instead he bragged about his accomplishment and told investors that his management will look at options in the coming MONTHS. HELL he just put more fuel to the fire! Are these the expectations investors were waiting with another 50% decline since he took office?????????????????????????
Comparing similar situations Blackberry's New CEO wasted no TIME in announcing his immediate strategy and he stopped the slide of SP. Well today they are up 100% since then.
This is a 'weeked' plan and the SP @2.26 tells it all.
Very disappointed as lets the vulture take further advantage of FWM current limbo a SP weakness.

Anyone? What has this new CEO done to stop the slide of FWM share price and overall management image to upright this company? fact...SP have declined by 50% since he took office and continue to slide. Is he another sucker to boost his retirement and let this company be taken over for PENNIES?

  • What other plausible reason could there be to make an alliance with Flextronics? The street is not convinced. Down by the end of the day with this pre cursor good news. I guess we can put in the cards a short covering furry one of these days. We shall see.
