So if you were sick and the option was to give you a cure drug trial or a feasibility trial what would you choose... I don't care if they have 5 people in this trial. If what they are looking for works then it's a success.
OK I guess you are correct and they have nothing of value to put in an abstract and prevent. I guess everything they are doing at Moffit they should just throw out and pack up shop. LOL
It's a LAND GRAB!!!.... Profits will be put back into Marketing. The MARKET may start looking at Sodastream in a MARKET PENETRATION value.
Only when the MARKET see value in getting 3-5 Million new user per year and not focused on the bottom line.... This is a Land Grab plain and simple..
So lets say machine sales were up 30% this week and holds at 25% for the rest of the year. Then Soda would sell 2M machines in the USA this year. One day it will be valued on new customers instead of profitability. Will be fun to watch....
So let say 2.1M 2014, 1.7M 2013, 1M 2012 and 500K in 2011...Ouch for KO and Pepsi is all I have to say. Think of Sodastream as Pac Man gobbling up all the KO and Pep customers.
Read the news releases on PVCT and you will understand why they are taking a different route. I think you are in denial.
KO should have waited to announce this partnership instead of shedding light on the category. This early announcement will only help Sodastream. GMCR was in dire straights with NO growth and needed to save the stock price from an implosion.
So you are telling me that GMCR will come in with a 125 dollar machine and stop Sodastream from getting 2 Million new customers in the USA this year? Just because the stock price is down does not mean that the company is not building value at a rapid clip. Pepsi IMO has NO choice but to compete in this Arena with or without Sodastream. It would be awesome if we soon see Pepsi and DPS flavors on the shelf sometime soon. KO IMO is basing this decision on EGO and other nefarious reasons. I predict the KO CEO will be kicked to the curb over this decision within 3 years.
Sodastream going forward IMO will throw caution to the wind and Spend money at a rapid clip to gain market share. They will soon IMO have machine's available between 50-60 bucks most of the time.
117 Million Household in USA.
New USA Sodastream users
2013 1.6M -1.8M
5-7% penetration on France and Germany... By the time GMCR hits these markets Sodastream will have 10-15% household penetration.
You dumb OX!!! When you have the 125-160 dollar machine sitting next to the 50 dollar machine.... What do you think will happen???? Sure GMCR will get the elite customer but Sodastream will get everyone else.... Unless they price the machine under 100 or so... Also the category awareness will be incredible and Sodastream can ride this waive. But Pepsi or DPS will be on the shelf at that point with Sodastream. Also GMCR is only in the USA and by the time they hit Europe Sodastream will have 10% -15% penetration in Europe.
Big deal the average user exchanges c02 3 x a year and even less with the larger canister. Also NO customization looks likely with the new GMCR machine which is half the value proposition for sodastream.
Also if Sodastream needs cash they they should float 2 Million shares and get on with it.... The Inventory build has been incredible over the last 3 years. Increased about 100,000,000.
Look who sits on the KO Executive team and let me know if they would do a deal with Sodastream. They put on their anti Jewish hats and let this override business sense. They used the cover that Sodastream kicked sand in our eyes excuse.
Sodastream needs to get that factory built pronto and get the heck out of the West Bank to add equity value. Pepsi IMO will move hopefully soon before DPS syrups start showing up at stores. KO had a product with 600M in revenue, growing Rev at 30%, in 40 plus countries with 8 Million active users and they decided to go down the path by throwing 1.25B at GMCR to go create a machine from what we can tell at this point will be a premium machine.
On another note Google Trends have been off the chart and the next couple weeks of NPD data should be interesting. Sodastream's stock price will come back not a question of if but when.
This will go down as one of KO's biggest blunders when the dust settles....
Nope think religion..... Even if it was on a subconscious level.... They could have bought Sodastream and got 8 Million new customers off the bat with a system being used.... This makes NO business sense and plays right into Pepsi's lap. Kent will last about 2 more years and this will go down as one of Ko's Biggest blunders.
I thought you were business getting your #$%$ checked by Pino?
