    Rintega questions

I had the same impression rays. AM has always played very conservative until the actual data is presented. We've been pleasantly surprised on a number of occasions when he played it low key and then the data was reported and it was very good, much better than he had forecasted. I think this is why the "ambivalent 'longs'" ("pseudo-longs"?) don't like him. He's not a bells and whistles and spinning lollipops sort of guy. I also think it's why a lot of the committed longs here are older. We are more effort, diligence and persistence = reward oriented. The ambivalent-"longs" don't care where things really stand with the actual product. They just want somebody to come out and do an exciting, stir up the masses, horse and pony, Enron, to "hype" up the price so they can make their quick profit and get out.

Thanks. Calmer is better. If you're a short you can rant or rave -- over whatever it is shorts get excited about. Us longs continue the forward march toward (expected) approval. A lot of arguments break out here over illogic. Shorts and bashers rant when the stock price goes down. Longs don't care. We're waiting for the payoff (drug approval). Yet, sometimes it seems longs are arguing with shorts about their meaningless (to longs) rantings and shorts are dissing longs expectations of approval because "the price went down". Silliness and nonsense. Two different groups here for entirely different purposes

Also, you talk like a #$%$

Shorts' irritable, testy defensiveness always a sure sign we are embarking on a protracted upward climb. What are we at, three days in a row now?

The best way to cut through this hyper anti-CLDX-investor cr^p is to learn a little about CLDX, the history of its lead drug (Rintega) and it's consistent and successful (to date) progress through trials. Also, learn a little about the potential of its other drugs in pipeline (Varli and Glemba). Once educated you'll have an understanding of why people are so faithfully following this company long term, why we continue to sing its praises regardless of ups and downs in the stock market, manipulation, momentum and even "drops we never thought could happen", and why we really couldn't care less if bashers think we are "pumpers" or think we should second guess ourselves on this company because a momentum drop after news that the lead drug -- still barreling along through trials -- may take longer to approval .... followed by China. (CLDX not a Chinese company btw).

Anyway, what I DO like to hear: Sudden increase in basher/shorts' testiness, defensiveness and irritability (as we've seen in the last day or two) -- and insistence that longs care what you think of us or our investment decisions. Such testiness on the part of shorts has been a fairly reliable indicator that we are about to start a major uptrend ... and you guys are feeling the early tremors :D

Good find Tina. I agree with everything you said. I haven't -- in any of this discussion about the timing of approval -- heard anything that sounded remotely like Rintega is not performing well In trials. It's just a matter of the time to approval which sounded to be extended by only a few months.

    Markets Got Crushed

Momentum has been known to bring us down quite a ways. But, unlike in past declines e.g. early-mid 2014 we have tangible data to look at and BTD this time. I think the "post 'negative' news [that wasn't even as negative as people made it out] slide" is coming to an end. Over the weekend people will start thinking, "November is still a ways off. BUT, when is the buying going to start? I kicked myself when I didn't get in in the teens the last time" etc. And, we will be back climbing upward the way CLDX is famous for.

I'll be honest with you J20, it didn't hurt my feelings to see it drop a bit :D Gave me a chance to load back up at lower price. Ready for the profits to start streaming in now. May take a while for the wheels to start turning full speed but we know we'll get there :D

Ah yes, and people listened to Sony Walkman's, women had "big hair" and mobile phones were the size of your arm.

Another nostalgic, yet pointless, trip down memory lane, to a different era and a completely different CLDX company

  • the stock market all day. Yes, that's a part of the job for some of them. But, they are also doing things like designing, running and analyzing clinical trials and trial data.

I also think that much of this board is made up of people whose professional experience is in the financial world and much fewer from science and biotech research. My related experience is more in the latter and I'm not feeling bent out of shape by the current stock price or Marucci's management style. They are trying to find cures for cancer. And, from what I can tell -- from the data that's been released and updates -- they are right on-task. Too many "feed my gaping baby bird mouth with a silver spoon" types on this board

All that is factual except "investors have lost confidence in CLDX's prospects and management's ability to make it a successful company?"

What serious investor has lost confidence in CLDX's prospects or management? Serious longs have all been down this road before. We've lived through these spin-induced drops. We also heard the trial updates as clearly as you or anybody. All drugs are still on track and going forward.

The CLDX downward-momentum hype machine doesn't affect the pipeline at all

    Heavy trading volume after earnings

Just "traders don't like to wait." However, if you are long this is a great opportunity to get in or get in more. The results say the wait will be longer. (However, being long means waiting anyway). But, they also reassured us that the ship is still moving forward to the destination. Very reassuring I thought. These drops are traders not wanting to wait to make a buck, momentum and manipulation capitalizing on momentum. I loaded up.

Well, the bad news is my prediction for today was off (so far). The good news is we dropped down to near $16.50 and I loaded up with mega, buku shares and on the heels of very good Q2 results!

Stay true to CLDX for the long run. You will get many great buying opportunities at times, like these where any other stock would have been launched out of reach by the data. CLDX actually becomes MORE affordable after good news :D

No. What picture are you creating from connect the dots? I see 38, 20's, 14, mid-20's -- briefly to 32 again -- back to 14, 13, 12, 11....up, up, up 14, 16, 18, 20's, 32 again, now settled down back around $24 as we watch the data come in. And the data has been consistently good. I can as pointlessly count beans as you and the other short bean counters can. Who the hell cares :D Show me some bad data. Then I might have the thought, "Gee, is CLDX in trouble?" But, the price going up and down? Ha!

  • shares for a period of time..."Surely, they must not have confidence in their products? Something is not going right?".... Then a couple of months later we get the stellar Rindo data and the stock starts up.... Then, another four or five months and Rindo gets Breakthrough designation....and the stock really starts up. People, now murmuring about an officer selling some of his shares. If history is anything t go by you better load up
